Adorable cats and dogs, and beautiful flowers. Here's my tax, Chippie, who's asleep now unlike me who has been wide awake since 2am.

Julian Assange has been released & extradited to US territory where he will plead guilty to one charge but face no jail time. He'll then return to Australia. Oh frabjous day, callhoo, calay.

Tax attached

No leaflets here but could be because I have a Labour board and multiple poster. Our constituency has changed boundaries and it worries me that its seen as a safe seat. Narrowly lost to the conservatives by only 27 votes a couple of elections ago.

I've twisted my ankle delivering leaflets so am hobbling around now

"If they're trying to hide it, that just proves how bad that impact assessment was - so therefore how callous they were in choosing to ignored it"

Yes they certainly aren't dodging publishing the assessment because the reduction in UC wouldn't have caused problems.

What's infuriating is the Conservatives are spending taxpayers money to hide information from taxpayers.

Going to Tribunal won't be cheap, guarantee they won't do it in house so they've committed £££££ to dogs themselves out of a hole again.

Thanks for the thread Duncin - thoroughly enjoying the photos!

itsgettingweird · 25/06/2024 07:26

Thanks for new thread.

No pets to pay tax here. No flowers either as ds and I both suffer terrible hayfever!

I could offer hung up wet swimming kit as that's the most decoration this house gets but it's not the best sight 😂😂😂

I don't follow football, but the lionesses men's team aren't very good, are they?
😁

NoDishiForRishi · 25/06/2024 07:52

Let's try again with that cat tax... 😂

Seemingly past the first 20 minutes of a match - NO! If the last 2 games are something to judge them by!

itsgettingweird · 25/06/2024 07:56

I won't be watching tonight's. We don't get home from ds training until 8.30pm and we are up at 4 again for training.

DuncinToffee · 25/06/2024 08:32

Its the turn of the anti immigration threads again, the Tories are out campaigning on it today.

Posted my ballot paper this morning! (Tactical vote)
Still had nothing from the Tory candidate so "Ya Boo Sucks!" to them... not that it would have made any difference.

@MissMarplesNiece
Chippy is just 😍
Apologies I am somewhat bird-ignorant but does he "talk"?

DuncinToffee · 25/06/2024 08:46

EXCL - In just days, public will be at risk because prisons will run out of space, says PGA Prisons
In letter addressed to main party leaders & expected to be published later, it says criminal justice system will “grind to halt” - with no room for police & courts to put suspects & criminals, meaning dangerous ppl will be on streets. Comes as officials in MoJ tell me there have been conversations btw officials & ministers about invoking Civil Contingencies Act which would give ministers more powers in emergency such as releasing ppl early.
