Ultra soppy Cat tax.

How many more cat pictures do I need to take before the election? Shock

There aren't going to be many Portillo moments this time for those of us old enough to remember Wink as we're going to be expecting them now Grin

My prediction for the SNP is between 15 and 25. I think this time FPTP is going to work against them - whereas they've benefitted from it in recent elections (and yet despite that they were still advocating for PR).

DS and his girlfriend were visiting this afternoon, they were discussing vote logistics and DSGF looked up vote margins for her home and student constituencies to decide where best to use her vote.
All the young adults I know (via DCs) are politically engaged and planning to vote, and are actively engaged in finding out about policies. This gives me hope for the future.

Thank you for our new half century thread Duncin. Here’s my tax. Gladys eagerly awaiting the arrival of a new government.

Hooray more puss and dogs and flowers etc!

Thanks @DuncinToffee. Your dedication in face of the football distraction is appreciated!

We could do a sweepstake as to how many threads we'll use before election day!

I've seriously been wondering if Sunak could commute from California for 5 years.

I think David Frost (telly David Frost, not the other one) used to commute between London and Los Angeles when he had 2 shows either side of the Atlantic. Rumour has it that he availed himself of the call button in First Class many times for gin and tonics and regularly got stretchered off the plane! ✈️ 🍸🚑😱

So they want to make something of Keir's age.

I hope Johnson mentions it - given today is his 60th birthday

dontcallmelen · 19/06/2024 18:55

I'm still clearing out my house. 16 years of crap.Blush I'm enjoying it, but what I'm really looking forward to is the UK clearing 14 years of toxic shite out of the HoC.

Three MRPs out today

MiC say Tories win 155 seats and Lab majority 165

YouGov say Tories win 108 seats and Lab majority 200

Savanta say Tories win 53 seats and Lab majority 382

That Savanta poll feels a bit mad - anyone know whether their track record is any good? That has to be an outlier.

Those polls just show how unreliable polls are.

No pollster has ever asked me what I think, or anyone I know.

I think it will be a hung parliament after the next election, But Jeremy Corbyn's puppet has alienated everyone, so Sunak will do a coalition with Reform and Farage will be Prime Minister.

You heard it here first.
