Did somebody post a list of deadlines on the old thread? Sure I’ve seen one but can’t remember if it’s here or Twitter.

Registration deadlines? I posted something. I'll look.

Cheguevarahamster · 25/05/2024 08:55

Morning. No cat picture today.

Election night bingo as my tax. (subject to change!)

Looks like we'll run out of pet photos so I've gone for a baby elephant

Yes please. Need to add myself to electoral roll on a new property.

Although it might just be easier to vote at the old one.

RafaistheKingofClay · 25/05/2024 09:04

Rishi’s timing is horrifically bad.

Thanks, I'll be doing different versions once the exodus has settled down. If anyone wants copies I am happy to send them over. Just DM me. You must all have fun on election night. 😊

RafaistheKingofClay · 25/05/2024 09:09

Thanks @Cheguevarahamster.

My plan today is to sort out a spreadsheet.

One of the most astounding sights in nature is seeing a herd of elephants hide behind a few bushes.

I mean proper hide.

(It's also quite exciting to wake up in the morning and realise a herd has walked through your campsite, silently dug for water and left again without touching a guy line. But the footprints were there ...)

pointythings · 25/05/2024 09:16

The Labour apocalypse thread is still hilarious, one poster on there is just throwing her toys out of the pram every time she is confronted with facts.

Meanwhile here's the Ladyship - she likes to sit on the table with me while I work, demands constant petting and is in charge. Six months ago you could barely touch her except when she was on her chair, and I've had her almost three years.

Cat tax isn't a problem for me, I take photos daily for the family group chat.

My cat is having the day off as well, but probably more relaxed than Rishi Long Stockings

I hope that the Voter ID message gets out there.

See, that's another thing that Sunak managed to fuck up. It's maximum - potentially only - chance of having any impact was if the GE was held 2nd May with the locals catching people unawares.

Instead, politically engaged people who fell foul of them have had a chance to fix that. And my suspicion is that anyone who couldn't vote on 2nd May, but has since got their ID sorted is someone who is not going to vote Tory.

Helpfully the Borister drew attention to it as well.
