I'm in favour of lowering the voting age to 16. Just as long as it is minors in law age 16 and 17 who have the vote, and no changes to other responsibilities or restrictions.

I've got 4 candidates right here. None of them would make good Tories as per the current definition, but that's all to the good. My fifth cat is too gormless to be an MP and besides, I need him on my lap.

Just found out that someone I knew in their "previous life" is now standing as a Labour MP. They stand a good chance of winning so that's a bit exciting. I already know 1 Labour MP a bit - enough to be recognised by them but now it could be 2!!

We have 16 and 17 year olds voting here in Wales for the Senedd elections. I’m all in favour.

Pretty sure Sunak & Co are happy to have the 🛒 out of the way - maybe they paid him to go.

They can vote in Scotland as well for the Scottish Parliament

I just wish that more younger people would vote anyway.

Shit just got real…….

I still think that we had water contamination here (SE) towards the end of last year - nearly everyone had a stomach bug over a week - people on the residents group were commenting on it - and the next month a village nearby was given bottled water because of a contamination. The water through town was distinctly murky and yellow.

It seems very very odd that nobody has announced stepping down today. As if they are under orders.

Being able to build and work a still is a great skill to have.

Just do not, under any circumstances use it to make alcohol.

DH has been out door knocking with our Labour candidate this afternoon, very positive reception.

He does love a holiday though. I seem to remember him always being on one when PM.

He clearly doesn't want to through his weight behind nutsack and I am starting to think most Tories realise it's a poisoned chalice when the coffers have been run dry by them over 14 yrs.

Mr Tiddles just wants to be left alone. His older sister has a real nasty streak. She'd make a good tory.

Twitter, just randomers, but still, seem to think London is about to get a 'boil water' order, might explain the lack of announcements today as that would be the icing on an already hideous cake...
