We had a day of beastly weather - it snowed and then rained, so it felt like slippery, wet cement underfoot, with big splodgy flakes getting down the back of my coat and big cold blobs plopping out of the trees.

Thanks Math Hope the weather improved. DD just came for a chat and Floof knocked over the small Christmas tree which we need to take down.

😂Yes he also knocked it over twice on the 5th though then looked like huh how did that tree get on the ground 🤔He does love the tree though, won't be happy if we take his cat toy away. The big one downstairs has about 30 robins on or it did until Floof derobined it.

After I blitzed my sitting room the other day ...I sat in a different spot as I had new cushions to try out ...as you do ..
And saw a sneaky little penguin in his full Christmas regalia with hat and scarf, still sitting there on the mantelpiece !!

Went out for cake with Havoc for a special treat. Shared a slice of chocolate birthday cake and a slice of chocolate raspberry cake, then ordered a Devil's food cake to be picked up on Thursday. That will be baby's first cake (not for her to actually eat) with her name and dob. Did the same with Havoc. Makes for a cute picture with baby. And ... I get more cake!!!😛

Tillly, hope chemo goes well. How many rounds?

Havoc, that appears to be a wedding cake. DD and her fiancee are getting their cake tastings box on Saturday.

I'm now watching the third and final season of No Offence. I'm gutted that they killed off DS Joy Freers. I didn't see that coming. She felt like the dorky British sister I never had. I've also learned a new slang term, which I think is Northern - kecks. These are trousers, not pants of course.

But my mam is Irish and I think she has always said trousers?
