So sorry for the delay. I know I promised I'd do another thread after dinner last night.
Then sort of had second thoughts as some posters started commenting on my previous thread that I was enjoying the drama, then tattle started getting involved etc etc.

I have been blocked on social media, as well as family and friends. We've all been turfed out but who cares. I have my lovely shoes back.

Letter was sent signed for today.
Hopefully she receives it tomorrow!

A happy ending (and £300 odd short) but that's what I'm aiming to get back now.

They are amazing. I can't think she ever wore them because they are so astonishingly pristine. To add insult to injury, I wonder if she faked the whole story of needing them just to get an expensive pair of shoes from you that she could take to the pawnbroker... Or did you see a photograph of her at the event wearing the Louboutins I'm rambling off down Conspiracy Cul de Sac 🤔 !

Beautiful shoes! It's a sting in the tail that you had to "buy" them back but honestly I'd have done the same, especially with so many sentimental memories attached to them, what an absolutely CF! I have a (very boring in comparison) black pair of Louboutins & honestly they are agony to walk & stand in but they are absolutely worth it & I always feel a bit "extra" when I wear them, which for obvious reasons isn't very often! Never be parted from them again...

Something similar has happened round here. Someone set herself up as a cleaner and had two FB pages (had one and then had to make another as people were starting to catch on). She would take money as a deposit and then not turn up - she was ill / her kids were in hospital, etc.
Finally, people started to post on the local FB page about her. At first the posts were deleted by admins as they named her, but then there were so many, they left them up. It's all been reported to the police. It turns out she owes thousands and it goes back around two years. She must have been a good manipulator and actor.
