CF sold my shoes part 2!

So sorry for the delay. I know I promised I'd do another thread after dinner last night.
Then sort of had second thoughts as some posters started commenting on my previous thread that I was enjoying the drama, then tattle started getting involved etc etc.

I have been blocked on social media, as well as family and friends. We've all been turfed out but who cares. I have my lovely shoes back.

Letter was sent signed for today.
Hopefully she receives it tomorrow!

Thanks again for everyone who helped.

A happy ending (and £300 odd short) but that's what I'm aiming to get back now.

I hope you do get you money back from CF and that the pawn broker has had a bit of a wake-up call.

Be prepared to wave byebye to the money. Sometimes the stress it brings you isn't worth it.

I must be very mean but if I owned shoes like those there's no way I would lend them to anyone!

@willWillSmithsmith they have red bottoms, not red soles.

The inside is a beige yellow colour.
The bottoms are very much red. Scuffed a little (where the ball of your foot goes) but they were that way when I handed them over to CF.

What you refer to as red bottoms is actually red soles. The bottom is the sole of the shoe. I think you might be getting the name of (beige) insoles confused with the (red) soles. (Just trying to be helpful so you don't go round insisting they have red bottom rather than red soles as people will think you're bonkers because soles = bottoms 😂)

Lovely shoes, glad u got them back. Whether you get your money back is debatable but the important thing is the shoes are back where they belong.

I think she means CF has ditched her and all her friends - not that the OP’s friends have deleted her.

where in the country does CF live?

send a letter before action like you have and then just go straight to small claims court as should all your friends!

CF sounds like she is knowingly doing what she does there is no way I’d be lent a pair of shoes like that and think they were a gift !! Never in a million years

if she had messages back and said yep (and on private gone shit mistake - she would have brought them back etc immediately without you knowing.) she needs to be named and shamed within your friendship group at least I can not believe she isn’t contrite

Sorry you’ve had to deal with this OP.

Don’t let it put you off being kind in the future though. CFs/thieves are the exception not the norm. Most of us would have given you them back in good condition with a thank you bunch of flowers and a bottle of wine.

They are definitely my shoes. I haven't had them rehealed, they've only been worn a couple of times.

They still sell that particular style but not in that colour.. I don't think anyway. My brother was under the impression they were limited edition. It's one of their classic shaped shoes though so the actual shoe is still on sale and always will be.

It's sad that people need to google / reverse search my images to make sure I'm not trolling everyone but I guess this place is filled with trolls so I don't blame anyone.

Wonder if any of the tattle readers are on here yet!

You need to post a picture with today's newspaper next to it to prove the date. How about a copy of the Daily Mail....😂

Wow gorgeous shoes. Im a DM girl as I have wide feet and can't wear anything near as glam as your shoes. Im on Tattle I'll have a look see what's being said. Though I was meant to be being productive this evening 😂

It's choose your friends wisely (ie. never befriend anyone with the same size feet again, ever).

Oh I’m so envious of anyone who can wear anything like those. I’m a flip flops or water shoes kinda girl. I have around a 30 minute time limit for anything higher than a trainer.

A lot of people must've thought I had a very red bottom on my wedding day!
