I work at a local primary school where I know a few parents who are dinner ladys i keep noticing they wear their uniform when dropping their own kids off and then they go home and then come back at lunchtime. Do you feel this is appropriate. Im not sure whether to mention it to our head

Then you should know better.

I'm at a loss to know what's incorrect about anything I've said!

Know better?

No they'll just be riding round all day showing off 👀🤣

And talking in pirate voices

If other McDonalds workers are wearing uniform to/from work maybe their rules are more lax than our franchisee’s were, or they just haven’t been reprimanded.”

No requirement to change at ours, it’s never been suggested. Our student son’s manager is excellent and she runs a tight, spotlessly clean ship.
I suspect in hospitality the staff are at much more risk by exposure to the high number of coughing customers/customers who don’t wash their hands, anyway. The lavatories are left in an horrible state by some people. Far riskier for son to have to clean those than potentially picking up germs on the bus at 6 am and passing them on to customers through a plastic screen.

They have our logo school hoodies on and then its like a chef white type of uniform I just think is it showing off in the playground to other parents bringing them attention /questions along with it not being hygienic. As they prepare food and serve it

I am at a loss to understand why you think they are showing off. They do an essential and useful job and are probably not that well paid. It’s not as though they are strutting around the playground wearing an academic cap and gown. I imagine they just find it convenient not to have to change outfits later.
I couldn’t get hot under the collar about this.
