@itsgettingweird you totally win. I can't see anyone topping that unless one of us has Andrew Bridgen for an MP.

Piggywaspushed · 15/09/2023 21:09

Until Dorries actually goes, I still claim the win.

Although Braverman is also impressive.

It is a close call! Grin

At least Dorries has resigned.

Braverman is unlikely to go if carried out!

RafaistheKingofClay · 15/09/2023 21:13

Does Dorries count as actually having an mp?

AdamRyan · 15/09/2023 21:45

itsgettingweird · 15/09/2023 20:51

I'd give you both sympathies.

But mines Braverman!

Its bad times when Disgraced Former Defence Secretary Liam Fox seems like a reasonable MP 😂

Hang on, I don't have an MP as the representative in Parliament for Riyadh and Moscow doesn't know whee his constituency is.

He's so bad even Boris didn't have him as Minister after all the other rats jumped ship.

Cornettoninja · 16/09/2023 06:59

For anyone wondering about the dispatches programme Russel Brand has put out a YT video denying accusations he’s been asked to comment on from a ‘well known tv company and a newspaper’. Doesn’t seem like their revelations are going to be political.

I didn’t realise he’d become such a conspiracy theorist either Confused

Russell Brand Denies Unspecified 'Serious Allegations' (Video)

Russell Brand shared an impassioned video to his YouTube Channel in which he denied unspecified "serious allegations" on Friday.

I was really hoping for a political scandal. Men in public eye behaving pervily is not much of a shocker, sadly.

Piggywaspushed · 16/09/2023 07:17

If the T is dropping it there is a much bigger dimension that just one or two male comedians doing bad stuff.

DuncinToffee · 15/09/2023 20:47

You have beautiful cats Pointy

We don't need a coup, just send a cat army to Downing Street

Edited

That should do it. I was pleased to see @pointythings cat has a face that is just as judgey as my cat. Sunak will be burying his face in his files and pretending he can't see, just like he did with KS in the HoC this week.

JanieEyre · 16/09/2023 08:02

Can I have the £30K-for-doing-nothing PR gig? I'd be brilliant at it.

MrTiddlesTheCat · 16/09/2023 08:13

I'm so disappointed that Dispatches haven't uncovered the insurrection involving tanks, cats and stern voices being plotted on the UK's biggest parenting forum.

Cornettoninja · 16/09/2023 08:16

I agree @Piggywaspushed . There’s a few names floating about (two consistently) but from what I can see there’s nothing addressing anyone outside of entertainment.

Cornettoninja · 16/09/2023 08:17

@MrTiddlesTheCat i got my lawyers onto them 😈

Zonder · 16/09/2023 08:18

@Cornettoninja I just can't believe all this fuss is about RB. I said this on the other thread about dispatches but will anyone care? I had forgotten he even existed. And he was always known as a sleaze so basically so what?

Tbf paying this shower to stay away from parliament for the last decade probably would have worked out cheaper than funding Truss’s economic experiment.

Cornettoninja · 16/09/2023 08:24

@zonder, I agree but until it airs/is published I suppose we don’t know if there’s anything else. I mean, of course if they’ve done anything it should be addressed through the proper channels publicly but it does feel, at the moment, like dispatches and the times have jumped on the band wagon after seeing the traction schofield and edwards got.

I’m all for rooting out creeps and abusers but given the (fairly tasteless) build up it’s being sensationalised.

Zonder · 16/09/2023 08:26

Yes it really is, @Cornettoninja

Re: the Dispatches thing. I can't shake the feeling that it is a spoof designed to demonstrate the power of social media and how it can manipulate us all.

DuncinToffee · 16/09/2023 11:42

If it is Brand, then gbeebies has already invited him, he is 'welcome at any time'

Will be interesting to see Sunaks reaction to that with so many of his MP's working for them.

Can you incorporate 'inaction man' somehow?

OP posts:
Cornettoninja · 16/09/2023 11:46

Inaction Man! C’mon Team - let’s do absolutely nothing!

(I did have to google for an action man slogan so not sure how snappy that is)

Roussette · 16/09/2023 11:49

pointy what a beauty your cat is!

This cartoon made me 😂
