So the barge is now being evacuated. Another government success story.

Not only is it inhumane but people have already died.

I think the Government rushed the Bibby Stockholm fitting to coincide with their Stop the Boats campaign - also inhumane.

I would actually not be surprised if it turned out that the government knew about the legionella, or had skimped on checks, and moved people onto the variety anyway.

That's what the media now need to be asking. When was the testing done? As opposed to, when were we informed. If the testing was done before people were moved there, then there needs to be prosecutions for endagering those people. If the testing wasn't done, why wasn't it done? And there needs to be prosecutions for endangering those people.

You'd expect the BBC to be all over this seeing as when they failed to ensure a safe water system in their building leading to a legionnaires outbreak, they got prosecuted.

I'd love someone from media who is interviewing to mention they now mention daily updates.

Then ask them that considering they've now got 2 RAF sites and a barge they are moving migrants to for processing as a deterrent - can you explain why you are reporting increased number of crossings.

My bet is the change of tune from deterrent to cost is because it hasn't stopped the boats!

I do feel for the activists of any party. We are a pretty angry country at the moment.

(We haven't even begun to touch on all the other ridiculousness, from the multiple fire warnings to the truly insane cost of this exercise in delivering a very public beating to some of the most vulnerable people imaginable.)

That was of course designed to fool people but when was the last time anyone saw a Conservative government spend lots of public money to assist those at the bottom of society?

I genuinely found that graph shocking.

I'd listen to any party that could string a sensible, workable, probably long term policy together that could offer solutions to this. But it would take more than a 5 year term - & I think it should be a cross party commitment.
No idea how anyone could make that happen though.

Assuming that nobody has actually contracted legionnaires disease, having to evacuate it in a week because of another fuck up is pretty funny.

Apparently the tests were carried out before they started putting people on the boats but they hadn't had the results back then.

So now they are paying for

Housing those asylum seekers in the boat
To fix the legionnaires problem
To house the asylum seekers in alternative accommodation.

It continued to move six further migrants onto barge on Thursday

Following UK Health Security Agency advice these were taken off that evening, before everyone removed today

Well at least they can finally claim success - they've stopped a boat

Posters on some threads seem to get very upset when I point out that the problems in the Uk are down to inequality not migrants.

So they negligently and knowingly put people's lives in danger. They are truely fucking evil.
