This is a lovely thread of some of the questions asked to Johnson, BH knows exactly what she's doing!

They are excellent questions. Johnson will obviously lie through his teeth "I do not recall...". Which is why she needs the phone.

TokyoSushi · 01/06/2023 19:06

Absolutely @Notonthestairs no straight answers will be given! But the questions are reassuring nonetheless!

Roussette · 01/06/2023 19:12

Great questions and it's what we would all like to ask him

Please confirm whether in March 2020 (or around that period), you suggested to senior civil servants and advisors that you be injected with Covid-19 on television to demonstrate to the public that it did not pose a threat?

Fuck me. Did we know about that? I know ‘Let the bodies pile high’ Dom let out the bag.

TokyoSushi · 01/06/2023 19:35

I don't think we did @RafaistheKingofClay but I'm not surprised, can you imagine?! 😳

Notonthestairs · 01/06/2023 19:37

It's a bit Trump-y isn't it?

Or maybe more like Bolsonaro.

DuncinToffee · 01/06/2023 19:42

Trump was bleach, remember the look on his medical advisors face when he said it? At least Whitty avoided that.

These are very basic questions and the fact that they can't/won't answer them speaks volumes Angry

I do remember hearing that at some point. Can't remember the source.

That might be because they believe their own hype. They did phenomenally well with the initial procurement and the NHS did really well with the jabbing. But the wheels came off somewhere between May 21 and July 21 because they somehow cocked up procurement of further doses.

I can’t quite remember what it was they didn’t do that they should have done. The vaccine section may not be quite as positive as they hope for.

They completely and utterly forgot about CEV people many times. They didn't bother to distribute Evusheld despite the fact we made it and it was approved and many other countries did. They didn't talk about it or explain why or anything about it really. Antivirals and other treatments and preventative treatments are quite tricky to get for CEV patients who contract covid. There's very little publicity about any upcoming treatments or developments.

March 2020 was when Italy and Spain were in the grip of covid and Italy was struggling to find morgue space to put all their dead.

I don’t really have any problems believing he’s stupid enough to say that tbh. He was clearly out of his depth knowledge and understanding wise whenever he had to go off script with questions from the journalists.

Johnson 'more than happy' to hand materials to inquiry
Boris Johnson has said he is "more than happy" to hand over his unredacted WhatsApp messages to the public COVID inquiry after the government announced it had launched a legal challenge over the request.
In his own letter to the inquiry this evening, the former prime minister offered to disclose the materials directly.
He wrote: "I see no reason why the inquiry should not be able to satisfy itself about the contents of my own WhatsApps and notebooks."
"If you wish to have this material forthwith, please let me know where and how you wish me to send it to you," he added.

Omfg he's absolutely unhinged.

Everyone watching Italy knew what was coming, and then they allowed the football match to go ahead, I remember from football forums that many Liverpool fans were too scared to go.

I do not have sufficient knowledge to know the answer to this question.

Covid was mostly caught as a result of airborne particles of virus.
If one injected virus into muscle, would it actually infect the person?

itsgettingweird · 01/06/2023 20:07

Nothing. The standards committee will search high and low and find absolutely nothing. That's what the government are scared of. There's not a single standard among them to be found.

Also from the Adam Bienkov thread

Despite Boris Johnson's claim yesterday to have suppled a "full and unredacted" archive of his Whatsapps, the Cabinet Office says what he sent only covers some of the pandemic.

They also say they have removed "unambiguously irrelevant" material from them

True to form

It's quite telling the government think they get to decide what's pertinent to an enquiry and what isn't.

DH, a scientist, says it would be a much more serious exposure than inhalation as it would get into your blood and therefore organs much faster.

And the Cheltenham Festival. We were due to go and pulled out because we were scared of going to be honest, but it was rammed, should never have happened and it spread covid enormously, I remember seeing facts and figures on it.

And who was instrumental in that decision? Dido Harding who was on the Board of the racecourse and who then blew £37billion on useless track and trace

From DanBloom @ danbloom1

NEW: Boris Johnson's office clarifies he does definitely have the old phone and has written to the Cabinet Office asking for security and technical support to retrieve messages from it. His team say he was given security advice at the time never to turn the phone back on.
