What did everyone get for Mother's Day?

Just a general chat about what gifts people received for Mother's Day?

I got some nice flowers and a bottle of Golden Dusk perfume by Sunnamusk.

I tell my children i only want a card, so this year i got 3 cards, a yankee candle and a lovely keyring. I saw 2 out of three children and got 2 out of three hugs so I’ve had a great day 😀

(mine are 24, 21 and 19)

My first single mother - Mother's Day has been overwhelming for some reason. I wasn't expecting to feel so emotional 😭 the kids both made me cards, I also got some hand made pottery which was lovely and Sunday morning hugs. I've just been so tearful.

Three really sweet cards and a bracelet (I chose it and dh paid) plus a trip to b&m 🤣🤣

Harry Potter Housepoints jelly beans dispenser and loads of jelly belly beans and a hilarious home made card....of me wfh..new job.

Mine are 19 and 23 (boys), so gifts are a bit more adult…

I had flowers (all white ones, they know me so well!)

All lovely and thoughtful, but the best was the cards which had such lovely things written in them, I cried.

Chocs, wine, handmade cards from my DGC and a lovely lunch out with all the family. Best of all, my wonderful DIL wrote the most touching message in my card.

People get much more for Mother's Day than I do for my birthday, Jo Malone and Clarins, wow! I got some lovely cards and chocolates. But all I wanted was a cup of tea in bed and a lie in to be honest. Maybe next year 😂

2 lots of flowers, chocolates, a wispa bar, bubble bath, champagne, margarita, a candle, a fluffy hot water bottle, some biscuits, a home made card, two bought cards, McDonald’s breakfast, a cup of green tea and a long walk somewhere pretty. All courtesy of DC age 9, 10, 15, 17 plus DH and (allegedly) the 2 dogs!

Just cards. I'm grateful, but I always do more for everyone else so there's a twang of disappointment, although I'd never voice it.

A school made card that reminds me of the cover of an album I like so is pretty cool, and my mum bought tulips, Thorntons chocs and a mug for my son to give me.

I got a card off DS, a card from the dogs & a white company gift set thing

Chocs, 'best mum ever' teddy, wooden heart with a nice saying, card with a lovely message in, 2 side tables I wanted, 2 raw steaks and some nice green veg ready for dinner 🤣

Flowers, pyjamas (I love getting new pyjamas) and chocolate.

Lovely flowers, a card with more than 2 words written in it which was amazing for my ds, some super cute soap and a candle he chose himself, a visit back from uni, a movie together where he fell asleep on me which was lovely, a genuine good laugh and a big pile of washing in an IKEA bag. 😂 bliss! My mum died not too long so a it was all greatly appreciated, I love my boy and I love being his mum, was a really nice day. I’ve missed him.

DH is who ignored all my not so direct hints all week felt guilty and agreed to the purchase a large item for the garden I’ve been wanting and he’s been resisting. So a win.

Kids are lovely. I am happy.
