Is ANYONE still buying Heinz baked beans?

Just a light-hearted post.

As title says, just wondered if there was anyone out to there still buying Heinz baked beans? We all know the price of cans is now extortionate, and everyone I know seemed to have switched brands.

Surely they can't be getting the sales anymore to keep going?! 🤯

Never bought them. I buy sainsburys low salt and sugar baked beans.

Yes...but only for DH. I hate any type of baked beans.

DS only likes Heinz 😵‍💫 - he has ADHD and only eats a few veg beans, carrots and broccoli (except what I blend up into meatball sauce which he doesn't know about ...
saying that though I've just found a really reasonable butchers which will save me a lot. I'm getting more supermarket brands so starting to get my food bill down a bit

I bought a load out of Costco - worked out 54p a can. I’m not paying £1 a can or ‘4 for £3.50’.

it’s simply ridiculous!

Poundland have Heinz meal tins - ravioli, spaghetti bolognase, mac cheese and beans with sausages all £1.25

Haven't bought Heinz beans for years. Lidls or Aldi beans are absolutely fine.

Reckon Heinz must be 1p per bean now 😂 A fork full is in the 10p-25p range and it would be funny if the pricing labels stated price per bean and not price per 100g.

I agree. I think Heinz beans seem different now, and not for the better. I thought it might just be that, as I don’t eat them often, I had forgotten how they tasted.

I always buy Heinz, but don’t like the taste anymore. I thought it was just my tastebuds but a couple of people have mentioned on here they seem more watery, which is what I found as well . The consistency seems to be different too, when you open the tin, the sauce doesn’t seem to coat the beans as well as it used to. I’m going to have to find an alternative. I’m not paying premium prices for a basic tasting product.
