Yesterday I sprayed Viakal on my bathroom mirror instead of glass cleaner.

What do you mean "And?". That's it. That's the most exciting part of my weekend (so far). Jealous anyone?

I got my haircut. A whole inch off. So wild.

It’s only with this thread I realise I haven’t left the house since Friday 😁. I have buggered my ankle, TBF, but still.

I helped finish a puzzle,oh and did all the ironing.

I got a free coffee as I had a full loyalty card

I got my first ever positive Covid test.

Well I'm not one for boasting but I still think my weekend is right up there as the most exciting. Although I have been out. To the bins.

I bought a new loo roll holder. Crazy.

I made a packet cake bake that has been in the cupboard for 18 months and DS liked it.

We should all get together for a wild night out - imagine the wild time we'd have :)

I got KFC for lunch because I'm hanging out of my arse. I ate it at the kitchen table, though not on the couch. I dinhave some standards.

Oh no re Covid. I guess you must have been able feeling unwell to do a test. I hope you recover soon. Rock and roll life here,walked round the park three times achievement as all I want to do is stay in and lie in bed.

Well I have accompanied some ungrateful teenagers to a very busy Ninja Warrior, and paid for the privilege. Lucky me!

I’ve moved into a rental and I’ve spent the weekend removing black sludge from the washing machine rubber seal and slime and gunge from the dishwasher door seals and hinges.

The owner told me the previous tenants had left the property immaculate. What a joke! At least the W/M has stopped smelling.

The sink in the kitchen has a nasty whiff as well.

I discovered the Sainsburys own brand make up range and it's really nice, but that might be a bit too much!

Well, the cat fell a bit too asleep on the back of the sofa and I caught him with the back of my arm before his butt hit the cushion (and his claw sliced a long gash in my upper back in the process), so he had a bit of a shock and I only had a pinprick in my shoulder as a result. That was quite exciting at the time.

I've also dyed my eyelashes and found it possibly made a difference to about 0.6 of a millimetre on a couple of them, filed the scraggy bits of DP's Psoriasis affected feet and bollocked him for not taking care of them with dire warnings of what happens when fissures aren't treated.

And the new workbag that's large enough for laptop and work papers arrived - to my amazement, it is actually leather and not PU leather fucking plastic, so it's a better deal that I thought.

Non stop thrills and excitement here, as you can see, but on balance, the five seconds of mild feline non-peril probably accounts for maximum adrenaline this weekend.

DD (15) actually said I was useful as I translated Macbeth into " proper " English!

I was meant to be going to a gig. The venue used to request a clear test. I was feeling under the weather so I did a test. I know I don't legally have to isolate anymore, but it wouldn't have been very nice of me to breathe all over all those people in the mosh pit.

I dropped a slice of buttered bread and CAUGHT IT AGAIN BEFORE IT HIT THE FLOOR 🙌🏼

I emptied the bathroom bin. This ended the ongoing saga of "who will empty the bathroom bin". A challenge I silently and passive aggressively set for the household two weeks ago. Turns out my DH and kids would live with overflowing bins forevermore if I suddenly died/ fucked off a la Shirley Valentine.
