What's the most exciting thing that's happene to you this weekend? I'm willing to bet nobody can beat mine

Yesterday I sprayed Viakal on my bathroom mirror instead of glass cleaner.

What do you mean "And?". That's it. That's the most exciting part of my weekend (so far). Jealous anyone?

I've been stalking a very particular style of coat on Vinted - £220 ish new, most of them up for around £60/£80

I swore I would only ever spend my balance and only had £16.84

One came up for £20, offered £15 and it was accepted!!!!!! Win of the year for me!!!

I bought casters for our 3 piece suite because the current ones are broken and we have a new wooden floor. I researched them and everything. Life rocks.

At DD’s swimming lesson yesterday, I saw a man who had an ingenious way of putting his son’s swimming cap on.

He turned the cap inside out, filled it with water, held it about a metre above his son’s head, then dropped it. It snapped on to the boy’s head like magic. I was amazed. 🤩

I need to borrow a child and a swimming cap to test this out. Unless I can persuade one of my adult dc to let me have a go.

I looked after my baby granddaughter for the first time, she slept 9.30-6.30 , had a bottle then went back to sleep until 9.30

I on the other hand was awake most of the night watching her 😑

I’ve moved into a rental and I’ve spent the weekend removing black sludge from the washing machine rubber seal and slime and gunge from the dishwasher door seals and hinges.

The owner told me the previous tenants had left the property immaculate. What a joke! At least the W/M has stopped smelling.

The sink in the kitchen has a nasty whiff as well.

That’s grim, someone didn’t do a proper inspection.
Read for washing machine you can spread some tissues or toilet roll along the door sea,. Pour mouthwash over the tissue to soak it, leave overnight then discard tissue.
Hope you’re new home soon feels like home.

I put my back out, the back ache is like toothache and I have sudden random sharp pains in back and then my knees buckle. Have tried to carry on as normalish. But every time it happens tears come to my eyes it hurts so much. I actually have resorted to pain killers I had in the cupboard and back rub stuff. i usually avoid taking medication.

Me and dd watched a mum practically flick a swimming cap on with both thumbs without touching the child's head. We was both very impressed and jealous. I almost need both hands and a knee.

I tried to set up the new phone BT have sent me, it wouldn’t work . Then I realise they are not connecting us until the 8th… so thats next weekend sorted!
Also tried to get the Pepsi stains out of my back seat upholstery of my car, courtesy of my teenage daughter… failed so just put a blanket over it
