What's the most exciting thing that's happene to you this weekend? I'm willing to bet nobody can beat mine

Yesterday I sprayed Viakal on my bathroom mirror instead of glass cleaner.

What do you mean "And?". That's it. That's the most exciting part of my weekend (so far). Jealous anyone?

Well I've just come back from a weekend in a hotel in Central London with a lovely Swiss businessman I matched with on OLD.

3 full days of sex, sightseeing and drinking in pubs.

Wonderful.

You are double banned. And I'm not at all jealous.

@believers we live up a track and the farmer rents his fields out either side. The current sheep are also quite adventurous and like to attempt escape. This one was tangled up by its horns in the wire and up to its belly in boggy water, so I traversed a ditch via islands of reeds, balanced on one leg, unhooked its horns and shooed it away out of the boggy area. Sheep are daft.

Thank you for the explanation and that sheep will love you forever.

My Apple Watch recorded me doing my first ever elliptical workout today, for 22 minutes!
I was actually just winding up a ball of wool whilst watching Alan Titchmarsh but don’t let apple know that 😉

I woke up early yesterday and made a start on the laundry. First I did a blacks load, when it finished I took it out and put a white load on. Patted myself on the back for being "on it".
It ended there though.

Both loads are still in wet crumpled heaps. Not hung out on the line even though we had sunny spring like weather today. Not hung out on the airer cos...well to be honest I just couldn't be arsed.

Teen ds has just informed me he needs his black jeans for college tomorrow....so that's fun.

I actually had my son for the weekend
We watched a lot of you tube

Went on some walks and built a fairy house in the woods

Ate sushi and had early nights.

We met Nigel Havers when we were out on our walk today . They brought a house in the village where my mum lives . I think he thought I was going to ask for an autograph but I was more interested in the dog they were walking 😂

Dh said there's none of my favourite wine left, and I was sad. Only to discover today he meant there's none left in the fridge. So he restocked the fridge last night. Yaaaaaay

I washed all the towels and bedding and took them to the local laundrette to dry in the big dryers. £4 and half an hour later I came home delighted with bags of dry laundry. We’ve just moved into a rented flat with no tumble dryer or space to dry loads of washing.

I sneezed 5 times in a row. Oh yes, in a row I tell you. And DH said "bless you sweetie" after the first 3, then "really?" after the fourth and fifth. And I've not even got a cold. So there. 🥇🏆

I bought a giant rug for lounge. New sofa being delivered Tuesday and I'm so excited as our last one cost £40 on eBay and now I'm pregnant I can't lay on it comfortably. So excited for new one.

Also it was my birthday and I went bowling with DD and DH. It was nice as haven't been for years and I never celebrate my birthday for last 20 years.

Can I ask where your rug was from? We also need a huge rug....

At DD’s swimming lesson yesterday, I saw a man who had an ingenious way of putting his son’s swimming cap on.

He turned the cap inside out, filled it with water, held it about a metre above his son’s head, then dropped it. It snapped on to the boy’s head like magic. I was amazed. 🤩

I took both DC for a day out on my own. Usually I wait for DH to be off work as eldest is ASD and days out can be really difficult (I also struggle a bit with confidence & anxiety). So today I put my big girl pants on, and off we went to a local attraction. We had a lovely time and at bed time eldest thanked me for the best day ever.
