Yesterday I sprayed Viakal on my bathroom mirror instead of glass cleaner. What do you mean "And?". That's it. That's the most exciting part of my weekend (so far). Jealous anyone?

The most exciting thing happening here? I weeded part of a flowerbed.

My little fostered one who has a whole shopping list of medical problems including dystonia, actually slept right through the night for the first time ever. For the first night in months I haven't spent a couple of hours in the wee small hours trying to settle a little one back to sleep while their body contorts in to all kinds of weird and wonderful angles. We both felt much better for a solid night's sleep.

I managed to get the towels out on the line this morning and by 3 o'clock they were half dry!!!! Half dry I tell ya! Yes, and incase you are curious, they are now on the airer in the garage and tomorrow morning I will transfer them to the airer in the spare bedroom where they shall warm through and dry completely. 😌

I started a declutter with the intention of being ruthless. Within 5 minutes I was reading old birthday cards which were in a bag at bottom of cupboard. Think I need to get someone in to do it for me!

I scooped all the dead leaves off the grass and put them into piles (which wont rot but at least they are not scattered all over the garden)

I cooked, shopped, cleaned this weekend and filled up the garden bin ready for putting out midweek . Ferried one or my DDs around all weekend without putting on a chauffeur's cap.

But I did talk to my son at Uni. - he rang me ..! We had a 6 minute real live conversation 🥰 and he didn't ring as he needed any money. I'm glowing!

We sort of mended a drawer that fell out yesterday, disgorging its contents. It will be OK if we remember not to pull it out too far in the future.

I cleaned my car. Well overdue. I got comments at work about my number plate being invisible. Well maybe the mileage I have to travel to get to work has something to do with the dirt build up hmm.
