You know the very very end bit where she dies an old lady in bed and as she drifts off she's back on the Titanic. When she walks into the ship again Trudy is still dressed as her maid and little Cora is still dressed in little more than rags. I feel bad that they all those people have to spend eternity on the Titanic as staff and third class passengers while Rose swans around in her evening gown snogging Leonardo dicaprio

Has anyone ever seen the alternate ending they made…..it’s terrible 🙈 so glad they choose the one they did…..

With their frolicking and her loud post-sex giggling they distracted the two guys in the watchtower thingy and they didn’t see the iceberg until it was too late.

Then if Rose had got on that lifeboat and STAYED on it then Jack could’ve sat on the floaty door.

I’m not saying the ship sinking sinking and Jack dying are her fault. But they were kind of her fault.

Also if you have the dvd there's an alternative ending where cal and Lizzie the granddaughter see her walk to the end of the boat and try and stop her throwing the necklace in the water. She lets them see it for 5 seconds and then drops it.

I don’t usually like romantic films but titanic is one of my all time favourite films.

I think they done it perfectly and makes so many people genuinely interested in the real titanic.

I honestly don’t think they could have done it any better …… apart from the scene that she throws the necklace into the ocean!

Give it to your daughter who’s looking after you in your old age, donate it to the museum or charity. Do something!!

That is BRILLIANT - especially the dancing scene!

I love Titanic and I don’t care who knows it. The beautiful dresses, the romance, the way in which just a few short days turned Rose’s life around. And their kids at the end is really emotional and makes me cry!

To add - Harold Lowe was married to a British woman, Ellen Whitehouse, so it would have involved some historical liberty taking to marry him to Rose 'Dawson'.
