Speaking of adverts, the vaccine ads in the US with the famous people - just awful.

EmmaEmerald · 23/02/2023 14:44

I've put a link in petitions re government ID

not allowed to put it here

if anyone is interested in the consultation, please post to give it a bump.

ISaySteadyOn · 23/02/2023 17:14

Will do. Thanks.

EmmaEmerald · 26/02/2023 22:43

just last week, someone called that a CT

Im starting to wish I could hire a blimp to fly all over the homes of the people who thought I was a crazy person.

JenniferBooth · 26/02/2023 23:14

EmmaEmerald · 26/02/2023 23:55

Jennifer do you think it’s viral gastroenteritis? If you have any camomile tea, that apparently helps soothe the digestive tract, might be worth a go.

JenniferBooth · 27/02/2023 00:11

Thankyou. I didnt know that. Flowers

justasking111 · 27/02/2023 00:31

I had that Christmas week was panicking I'd not be able to do Christmas day dinner. So just drank water and took omeprazole. Felt weak at the end of Three days .

Ginger tea is also helpful plus it tastes lovely.

@EmmaEmerald , did you see the Cochrane report that concluded that masking does eff all?

Another for the catalogue of AD "we told you so"s... along side the effects on social and communication skills, especially in young children.

Oh the shameless irony when the Guardian publishes articles about the effects of restrictions, but I console myself that it's another step in not going back to those dark days.

I do feel more secure now that we've managed a business as usual winter with little attention to a specific illness and turning society over to "manage" it.

ISaySteadyOn · 27/02/2023 07:52

Agreed.

EmmaEmerald · 27/02/2023 12:18

So many people still masking.....I don't really do media, just glance at it. Do people know about the Cochrane review if they mostly do MSM? I think they like masks.

i didn't know about the Guardian, that's quite good to know. I'm not sure I'll ever feel secure again though, in the sense that I will forever assume the govt is out to get us.

justasking111 · 27/02/2023 12:38

Brother went to live in China twenty odd years ago. Started off in Beijing. Everyone wore masks when the smog was bad as if that worked unless it was the proper ones. He did say you'd choke at times without one. The Chinese compliance I think inspired politicians, WHO worldwide to use it as a physical reminder to stay away. We might as well have waved red flags

I said similar to local MP re flags.

I bumped into one of the worst Ds at a work thing. There's an atmosphere - obviously I am polite and professional but I can't see him the same way again.

Thanks Jennifer

not sure how these messages were obtained

twitter.com/danbloom1/status/1630711389273616385

if true...how is it that there are still people who think the past few years were fine, just a govt "doing their best"? It makes my head explode.

Buzzinwithbez · 01/03/2023 12:45

I don't really understand. He used the partner of Richard Rice to write his book and have her copies of all his Whatsapp messages.
It doesn't add up.

None of what has been released is surprising though and I can't see many people even blinking at it's.

EmmaEmerald · 01/03/2023 13:21

Unless it's part of his public rehab

it just still weirds me out that people can twist their cognitive dissonance in a way that makes lockdown okay

but I suppose we can't know what the majority think.

JenniferBooth · 01/03/2023 13:59

Predictably its tumbleweed re, this on the Covid board. Looking at the WhatsApp screenshots it looks like Helen Whately asked him not to stop husbands seeing wives in care homes but residents remained isoloated for months. From what i recall the fucking toad was happy to hide behind her skirts remembering the news interviews at the time.

EmmaEmerald · 01/03/2023 15:10

Tempting to start a thread but I will only upset myself.

EmmaEmerald · 01/03/2023 15:11

It's quite upsetting to see all this again

as well as the "we told you so" flypast, I'd like a "I will never forgive you" to fly past some people.

JenniferBooth · 01/03/2023 15:24

Sorry @EmmaEmerald Flowers
