I just thought it might be a little lighthearted fun 😁

I had a completely random theme tune stuck in my head all afternoon and decided to do a bit of Googling as I had a strong feeling it was from a kids show I used to watch and that sent me down a whole rabbit hole of much loved kids shows toys and even ads from my childhood!

A mixed bag of tv shows like Oakie Doke, Noah's island, super ted, animals of farthing wood, art attack, zzzap, the demon headmaster, the queens nose (telly addicted childhood🙋🏽‍♀️ 🤣) toys like polly pockets and my fav ads..the wide mouthed frog and the Milky Way 'red car and the blue car had a race'

What are your treasured 90s memories? Anyone fancy reminiscing?

Oh God, I miss the 90s! I had a tough childhood but I really do like to reminisce about all things 90s.

Oh I forgot to say, the theme tune was for wizadora 🤣 I don't know how I remembered that tune after all these years but I even remembered most of the words!

Humanity peaked in the late 80s and early 90s.
I miss glam rock and the fashion - when men and women could experiment with clothes, hair and make-up without assumptions about sexual orientation and gender identity.

I'm sorry to hear about your tough childhood 💐 but yes there's something so cosy thinking about all the things you lived from that era!

For me it's all tied up in the music. Snogging Andy Marshall at the school disco while slow dancing to End of the Road by Boyz to Men. Copying the Take That album off a friend. Making up routines to No Limits. Riding around in Wayne Cambells car blasting out Set You Free. Oh the memories.

Shout! Magazine. Especially with a free gift like Spectacular clear lipgloss that fell off within ten seconds.

Ahh music! I didn't really get into music until the spice girls came along but I remember collecting these spice girls photo memorabilia things religiously and I had loads!!

Cereal I mean. Too excited!

Take that magazine and collecting e everything with them in it. Take that clock, cup, watch, bedroom shrine. I was so happy lol

Oh yeah!! The cereal toys 😁 picking the cereal specifically for the prize inside! Then digging your hands around in the box (not a thought of hygiene) to find the toy before your siblings got to it...and then finding out they'd gotten there first 🤣

Why did they stop the toys in the cereal!

Taking E’s and dancing in fields, random London clubs and warehouses. Driving back via Scratchwood and watching the sun come up with a big spliff. Good times!

my DC couldn't believe we could buy sweets shaped like cigarettes!

I miss the 90s! I was lucky to have such a happy carefree loved childhood , I didn't realise how lucky I was! Adulthood has not been so kind!

I also feel old now a lot of the fashion is coming back. Body tops with baggy jeans and a big metal daisy shaped belt. 'Blossom' hats. Plastic dummy's on a string. Love beads. Flicked fringes achieved through hardcore back combing, hairspray and a hairdryer. Coffee shimmer rimmel lipstick. So! perfume. Head bags for school. And more importantly, not a mobile phone in sight!

Teen magazines with free lip balms, the Glitter Babes range from Boots, pedal pushers with clogs, those tiny butterfly hair clips.

Yoghurts with a toy in the middle, cereal with toys, crisps with tazos in. Pogs. Performing as the spice girls in the playground. Girl Talk magazine, cutting out the animal posters. Music magazines with CD’s taped to the front. Panda pops and shandy bass. Finders keepers with Neil Buchanan, tots tv, Fun House

Thanks to BBC4 (8pm, Fridays) I'm rediscovering and currently enjoying music from 1993 at the moment.
