It's very unusual for Buck Palace to release a statement like they have isn't it?

CaramelTwirl · 08/09/2022 12:44

Yes, seems like her death is imminent.

Motnight · 08/09/2022 12:45

I feel sympathy for her and her family but she's had a great innings!

Ilovelindor · 08/09/2022 12:45

Doesn't sound good TBH.

NoMichaelNo · 08/09/2022 12:45

She looked more frail than usual on Tuesday.

LadyCatStark · 08/09/2022 12:45

Yes and for Sky news to interrupt the commons briefing to read out the statement is quite telling.

Twizbe · 08/09/2022 12:46

It will be more telling if we hear that Harry and Megan have gone to Scotland. Given they are in the country they can have a last min trip up there.

Apologies I should have added a link.

I'm by no means a fan of royalty at all but I do have a huge admiration for The Queen.

It feels very ominous that Buckingham Palace have released that statement

poppypetal · 08/09/2022 12:46

Let's hope she hasn't read anything. Imagine how awful it would be to read about how worried your doctors were!?! 😥

Glitterbiscuits · 08/09/2022 12:46

I have wondered what they meant by 'episodic mobility problems'?

I agree an unusual statement.
It must be terrifying to be 96.

I think she has been told, she's not browsing the news on her iPad.

Boxin · 08/09/2022 12:47

Very concerning. She looked incredibly frail the other day.
I did wonder if Truss/ Johnson took covid tests before meeting her.
I’m not a royalist but she’s served the country well and deserves respect and peace.

KenAdams · 08/09/2022 12:48

It's this that's the most concerning "her immediate family have been informed".

AdoraBell · 08/09/2022 12:48

She did look frail on Tuesday. Happy, not robust as she usually looks.

mothertrucking · 08/09/2022 12:49

Just heard on sky news that Prince of Wales and William are heading to Scotland 😞

AnchorWHAT · 08/09/2022 14:02

As are the sussexes now

Sarahconnor1 · 08/09/2022 14:03

Yes, very unusual. All immediate family are either heading to or already at Balmoral

mothertrucking · 08/09/2022 14:10

AnchorWHAT · 08/09/2022 14:02

As are the sussexes now

That says it all

Pipsickl · 08/09/2022 14:30

I hope she is comfortable. She has looked increasingly frail since she lost Phillip.

Happygirl79 · 08/09/2022 14:33

I am not a royalist however I do have the highest respect for the Queen. Very sad news.

christmas2022 · 08/09/2022 14:36

Sounds bad.

Carrieonmywaywardsun · 08/09/2022 14:36

Charles and camilla, Anne, william, ed and soph and andrew the nonce have all flown up. By all accounts, this is it

christmas2022 · 08/09/2022 14:36

Does anyone have a link to the last photo the public saw of the queen?

BeggyMitchell · 08/09/2022 14:48

Like HappyGirl79, I'm not a royalist but I don't think you have to be to be thinking of her. For the vast majority of us she's always been our sovereign.

Doesn't seem right somehow, the thought of there not being a Queen of England.

Neverendingdust · 08/09/2022 14:55

I did a double take when the picture with her at Balmoral with Truss was released- she was smiling however her hands had that mottled look to them which was passed off as bruising.

HM has been marvellous all the way until now, as morbid as it sounds she deserves an uncomplicated peaceful passing surrounded by her family, I don’t want her to suffer ill health.
