Good God that poor, poor woman. How much more suffering can one woman take? First the loss of her baby and now this it's just horrific.

Poor Lauren I really feel sad for her and I don't even know her nor was I fan of her in TOWIE.
I can imagine alcohol and maybe drugs were involved not that it excuses his behaviour.

Pipsquiggle · 06/08/2022 07:44

It's just awful.

She gets beaten up and 4 days later her baby dies. What a sinister time line and horrific experience.

Pipsquiggle · 06/08/2022 07:47

The Mirror has the dates wrong in their article. Lauren went to hospital on 4/8/22

SweetSakura · 06/08/2022 07:49

My heart goes out to her. Horrifying.

And there is no excuse for her partner. Revolting to see an apologist for DV on this thread suggesting something must have "triggered" it, and that her partner was grieving too. Well decent people grieve without taking it out violently on someone else.

There is no excuse for violence

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 06/08/2022 07:51

sadly suspect she will do a Katie Price on this one. Poor woman, clearly very damaged from her child hood, her vile ex Mark Wright and now all this. I do hope she seeks help and steps away from her abuser.

Victim blaming. What a vile post. I’ve reported you.

Sounds like you are wondering what she did to deserve it. Hopefully that's not at all what you meant.

SnottyLottie · 06/08/2022 07:58

My God! That poor poor poor woman! I really hope she gets the support and help she clearly needs after these two awful events that have happened to her.

I also find the thinly veiled victim blaming on this thread disgusting.

Nothing should trigger a man to beat a woman. Nice victim blaming there.

W00p · 06/08/2022 08:07

Absolutely horrifying. My heart breaks for her, I just can't imagine what she is going through at the moment.

LovelyYellowLabrador · 06/08/2022 08:12

I wonder if mark wright is ashamed of how he treated her on towie
at the time he used to take a pride in how shit he was to her, in a lol what I can get away with type way.
but now he’s older I wonder if he looks back and realised how horrible he was to her?

shes had a really hard life
and a hard childhood

i hope the press stop being so vile to her, and I hope they stop for good not just five mins then start up again

our ds1 died shortly after birth, as it’s a life altering changing pain
you are near the same again after that
but not always for the complete worse you become more compassionate
yoi can relate to certain other struggling with whatever difficulties they face more
yet you feel so alien to the majority of people
as so many people know just don’t get you
it’s a v v hard path
bit Loren if you read this please seek help from sands
please find others that walk in your shoes
please don’t give him one last chance
he’s over stepped the line do not go back
amd although I find it so hard still
the rawness does get easier to cope with over time
but you will need alot of support ask your friends to help
tell them what you need

Alcohol - emotion - stress -

No excuse but 100% alcohol

Plenty of men perpetrate domestic violence without alcohol being involved

Emotionalsupportviper · 06/08/2022 08:12

I have no idea who this woman is, but what has happened to her - particularly when she is fraught with grief - is horrific.

To those saying "She must have done something" - Just listen to yourselves!

There is NOTHING that anyone could say or do which merits an assault like this. Whoever has assaulted her has done it because he WANTED to - and because he COULD.

Ducksinthebath · 06/08/2022 08:16

I feel people are piling on @marblemad somewhat unnecessarily. It may have been slightly clumsily worded but I absolutely didn’t read that comment as asking if or implying that the victim had precipitated the assault in some way. I read it more as whether this was a grief reaction. That isn’t remotely acceptable but it’s very different from suggesting it was the victim’s fault.

In any case, speculating about why an assault took place isn’t in great taste so maybe it’s time to draw a line under that aspect of the discussion.

dworky · 06/08/2022 08:17

Of course it's domestic violence. I'm furious that the press pretend it's something else when they 'surmise' most other things which have very little evidence.

Hopefullysoon2022 · 06/08/2022 08:23

Jesus poor Lauren,my heart really goes out to her.
I hope she can get away from him.
She needs friends and people that can be there for her.
I really hope she has.

@marblemad I've reported your disgusting post.

UserError012345 · 06/08/2022 08:26

This is awful. 😫

35965a · 06/08/2022 08:28

God that poor woman, gives birth a couple of weeks ago, buries her baby then is assaulted. I hope she has the strength to get away from that cunt.

DueyCheatemAndHow · 06/08/2022 08:30

@35965a she's also lost her ex in the same time

LidlCinnamonBun · 06/08/2022 08:32

ShirleyPhallus · 06/08/2022 05:22

Wtaf. You think the problem is women who don’t fight back?

I think this means that women in a relationship with domestic violence are scared and mentally and physically broken down. Send the man to a woman who is ready to give the perpetrator what he deserves.
Its not a criticism of the women!

Smashing someone’s face in is not a grief reaction!

Oh gosh yeah I forgot that her ex also died. I hope Lauren has support, that’s so much to deal with on top of parenting a 1yo baby.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 06/08/2022 08:34

Her ex was a similar nice man by all accounts
