I'm back to work next week (for 4 days as then we break up for summer Grin)

The Conservative party leadership election wouldn't be everyone's choice of viewing whilst recuperating Grin

I'm finding journalists/media are just parroting whatever candidates say. I appreciate that the candidates are not giving much away - it's all going on behind closed doors - but it's very frustrating.
When do the debates begin?

I think there's a live debate on Monday night on Channel 4? Should be interesting.
I am very disillusioned with the lot of them. If I had to pick one it would be Tugendhat... but I think we know he isn't going to nail it.

It will be a Sunak/Mordaunt/Truss race. If I had to pick one of those, it would be anyone but Truss. Her channelling of Thatcher is doing my 'ead in.

I read online that a few people thought Penny Mordaunt was Adele! I can see why , but I think she resembles a blonder Jane McDonald myself

It's so depressing that the majority of those candidates are so bad it's just going to be more of the same. The fact that the frontrunner broke the law while in the cabinet says it all for me. They are holding us all in contempt with their poor judgement for supporting those candidates to get on the ballot in the first place.

I see Sky News app reporting that Tugendhat and Mordaunt campaigns furious with Hunt for throwing his lot in with Sunak. And Penny Mordaunt attacked over her trans stance. And Lord Frost heavily attacking her by saying he has "grave reservations" about her becoming next PM.

So who's got Lord Frost to do that? And who is it intended to benefit?
