TBF as bad as Steve Wright is it could be worse.....this week at work I have been subjected to Virgin Radio's breakfast show presented by the abomination that is Chris Evans.

guessing they got the gob covering Zoe Ball this week to actually make me miss her gasping for air.

I cannot listen to Zoe Ball because of the constant gasping. It drives me mad as I'm always just waiting for the next one. I've had to stick with Greg James for the time being.

I love Steve Wright so I'm so upset about this. I can't believe Radio 3 are replacing him with Scott Mills who in my opinion is really bloody boring!

Can’t say I’m gutted, he annoys me. I’d prefer all day Ken! I like Scott Mills when he stands in, also liked Gary Davies and Mark Goodier.

I have wondered for a while if Steve Wright has some kind of Illness as he’s off quite a bit. Thought perhaps he may have been having regular treatment?

I wish him all the best but I feel he’s passed his best. I used to love him on Radio 1.

I love it when Trevor Nelson stands in for Ken. He plays such good music.

I think Scott will tone it down for radio 2, but I like him and hopefully will keep playing some newer stuff.

Can’t stand Love Songs. Makes my ears bleed.

Yes, I'd love to hear Trevor more regularly. Good music and he has such an engaging voice, easy on the ear.

Live Sara Cox and Liza Tarbuck and Steve Wright and Gary Davies but the rest are awful. Zoe is too sycophantic, Rylan has nothing to say just his awful voice.

I’m incredulous that they’re replacing his with Scott Mills….. I associate his voice with the feeling of disappointment I get when I’m expecting my beloved Ken and he’s sitting in .

I totally understand the hatred for adverts but Simon Mayo also does a good show on Sunday lunchtime/early afternoon (the Album show) on Greatest Hits. He plays lots of things you rarely hear so if you can grit your teeth through the ads it's well worth it.

So happy to see this! His show was so dated and past it. Would have loved Rylan but I can deal with Scott Mills, his show on Saturday mornings on 5 live is pretty amusing.

THANK GOD! I listen to Radio 2 as I can't stand how inane and catered to 15 year olds R1 is. DH and I (late 30s) always wonder why R1 constantly plays newer stuff and nothing older, and R2 seems to have aged with its listeners and is only old stuff with the odd new thing thrown in. I love Rylan's show and Sara Cox always plays a good mix, plus Scott will hopefully play some newer stuff so it makes a nice change!

Thank goodness! I listened to his show when it was on R1 in the late 80s and I was in my late teens. I have moved on quite a lot more than the format of his show!

Can’t stand serious Jocking either. Hopefully Scott Mills doesn’t keep it. The only bit I liked on Steve Wrights show were ‘the oldies.’

I really like OJ Borg when he covers the other slots, and wished he had more day time presence. Also like Rev Kate and Jason Mohammed who do the Sunday morning show. Dermot and Claudia aren’t bad for a Saturday either. I quite like Ritchie also.

I had a little cheer (in the car) when Steve Wright announced he was going this afternoon. However when it was announced 10 minutes later who was replacing him I took that back. I find Scott Mills beyond bland and boring. I was secretly hoping Vernon would get the gig. Really enjoyed him sitting in for Zoe Ball this week. At least Sara Cox will be on when I drive home!
