Oh no, I was so pleased to hear he was going but very disappointed at Scott Mills. I really didn't like him sitting in for Ken Bruce recently.

I wish Ken could have the afternoon spot as wel as in the morning. I love Ken!😀

All Radio One presenters seem to migrate to Radio Two at a certain career point, it's like R4 presenters that follow each other to Classic FM.

I guess this means it's only a matter of time before Nick Grimshaw is mooted as a replacement for Zoe when she decides moves on.

Yeah, Ken Bruce should do all day basically.

Have enjoyed Vernon this week, he's played some good tracks while covering for Zoe. Can't he have Wrighty's vacant spot on Radio 2?

Probably a lone voice here but I like Steve Wright , find Scott Mills boring as fuck and Sarah Cox puerile and irritating (especially the boring interviews with little kids)

On a related note, does anyone know where I could listen to really old shows from radio 2, I guess an archive? I still miss Terry’s breakfast show and occasionally would love to listen to an old episode…

The only person I like on Radio 2 is Johnny Walker on Sounds of the Seventies.

I also don't like the rest of the music on Radio 2.

Summerwhereareyou - I find the same with Vernon, he kept saying pluhlist all week (instead of playlist), just find it really put on. I love all different accents but don't dumb them down for effect!

Yes, I listen to Absolute Radio all day. They have much better presenters that Radio 2.

I like Dave Berry too and his whole team. Matt and the comedian (I can't remember his name) are good too.

The only presenter I don't like is Frank Skinner on Saturday mornings so I listen to Greatest Hits Radio then.

Not before time ! Him singing over everything drives me bloody mad. Shame about Scott though, he's v dull. OJ would have been far better.

I care not a jot or a tittle. I have discovered Boom Radio - where the DJs are intelligent, well informed, and full of amusing anecdotes from their old days on pirate radio, when they worked with greats like Kenny Everett. The music is perfect for the radio 2 demographic- loads of 60s, 70s, 80s, plus any good recent stuff and a wee bit of 50s for the v oldies.
Presenters include Nikky Horne, Roger Twiggy Day, David Hamilton, David Lloyd, and the absolutely loony but v funny self deprecating Les Ross, who ought to be bottled as a tonic.

Absolute Radio have a lot of female presenters and they are all very good.

Simon is now on Greatest Hits Radio doing the drive time show, it is pretty much what it was when it was on R2, including Matt, confessions etc. I now tune into R2 for Ken in the mornings then find other shows in the afternoon.
