I was sure in the early 90s I used to absolutely love an ice cream I think was called ‘Mirage’ ? Maybe I’ve got the name wrong as googling isn’t coming up with anything ??!!

it was a bit like a solero but lemon shaped 🤷‍♀️ Maybe I dreamt it .

Also - a lemon drink called ‘Gini ‘??? Or have I made that up too 🤣🤣🤣

Did it look like this? I can't find a better image. It's by Nestle, who took over Lyons Maid eventually, so maybe a rebrand at some point? I spent longer than I want to admit looking for Mirages.

You are 💯 right! It was my favourite lolly when I had my first son in 1993z called Murage but was also called Montego at one pint, exactly like a Solero but lemon. Then it just disappeared! You’re not going mad. I got you xx

Toffee crumbles were amazing, then they replaced the soft toffee centre for toffee flavoured ice cream and they weren't the same.

I was thinking about Toffee Crumbles last weekend - I had a really strong hankering for one!

They were called Wibbly Wobbly Wonder and the frog was called Fat Frog.
