Am I remembering an ice cream that didn’t exist ??

I was sure in the early 90s I used to absolutely love an ice cream I think was called ‘Mirage’ ? Maybe I’ve got the name wrong as googling isn’t coming up with anything ??!!

it was a bit like a solero but lemon shaped 🤷‍♀️ Maybe I dreamt it .

Also - a lemon drink called ‘Gini ‘??? Or have I made that up too 🤣🤣🤣

No it was definitely solero sized but lemon shaped no other fruits involved

No not solero but very similar - Was definitely a lemon shape ….. I’m starting to worry I spent a whole summer in the early 90s hallucinating Ice creams 😱🤣🤣 is that why I have the name ‘mirage’ in my head !!!!????

It was lovely just really nice lemon ice cream and a lemon coating it was just so refreshing

Or maybe I’ve imagined it all but it was still lovely !!!

If it was real I can’t find it !!!! Currently googling old ‘ice cream menu’ posters and it’s not on any of them !!! But one of my memories was seeing it on one and being pleased they had my favourite ice cream !!!

They did do a Lemon Solero too back then. Probably the only time it was around was the 90s.

Does anyone remember a midnight mint ice cream that was around during the 70’s for a brief period?
Can remember roller skating with my strap on skates, on holiday when I first tasted it. Can still remember the deliciousness of it now.

They were the nicest Ice creams I only remember having them for a short time though probably 1 summer maybe 2 so maybe they were discontinued quickly ?? I was obsessed with them. I’m going to feel so silly if they are just something I imagined !

In around 2001 I had a Magnum Cone at Alton Towers. The next time I saw one was in Lindos in 2009, we'd just got off the bus and I didn't really want an ice cream but I was adamant we needed to buy one. It was just as good as i remembered. Never seen one since 😰

It’s not those although I did like them too 🤣🤣

The one I’m thinking of was definitely lemon shaped and only came in lemon flavour

I’m so glad you posted as I could have sworn that a solero originally didn’t have the swirl and was told by several people I was wrong but I absolutely remember all the different flavours and no swirl!

also remember Gini!
