So he should be.

The problem is they aren't doing anything about others who do the same or similar.

Patel got away with bullying.

Johnson got away with ...... well everything

I was thinking about Raab's wink at PMQs, if someone where I work had done that, they would have been having a serious conversation with their boss/HR. And if they did it or something similar more than once, well there is a door to use...

I see the MN thread about the latest allegations about BloJo - BloDry - has been deleted. Anyone see the message?

Yeah something like it might be interesting but it's only a rumour

I can more easily understand why that's not in the press than I can the complete blackout on the blow job.

I do wonder who is releasing all this to the press lately. There is definitely someone who wants all the stories out there.

What gets printed in the media is never just coincidence.

ApplesandBunions · 01/07/2022 21:19

CUMmings?

tobee · 01/07/2022 21:23

Could be!

Notonthestairs · 01/07/2022 21:24

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the sources are donors/sponsors. Polling suggests he's not likely to win anymore elections - he's outlived his usefulness.

Notonthestairs · 01/07/2022 21:31

On the delay in withdrawing the Whip and then deciding to do it because of a formal complaint...

"Which is interesting because it is likely that there are other live ICGS investigations in different parties that have not resulted in the whip going. We don't know who they might relate to because the process is kept so under wraps.

But I certainly know of other allegations including linked to some very senior MPs.

I've also heard a suggestion that the Propriety and Ethics Team - in the Cabinet office - raised concerns about another minister and is looking into another senior member of staff inside No 10."

More to come possibly.

Piggywaspushed · 01/07/2022 21:40

Apparently, Carrie and Boris were sharing a glass of wine. Apparently.

CUMmings?

Thy was what I thought too!

itsgettingweird · 01/07/2022 22:17

We need a new thread as well for anyone up for starting one?

Roussette · 01/07/2022 22:19

Just catching up.... we're going to need another thread, how time flies when there's sleaze sleaze sleaze to report on!

tobee · 01/07/2022 22:45

Do the new thread do the new thread!

It's not likely there won't be any more to say now is it?

ilovesooty · 02/07/2022 00:47

Let's have another thread. I'm struggling to load this one.

tobee · 02/07/2022 01:28

Thanks tobee - I thought they'd delete it and for that reason.

Me too, ApplesandBunions - It will be interesting to see if more comes of it or whether there is an injunction in place. It could always turn out not to be true of course - stranger things have happened - although I find it perfectly believable on his past behaviour.

Quite. I don't think sharing a glass of wine would be described as a compromising situation, especially given the drinking culture in government, then and now.

InMySpareTime · 02/07/2022 11:03

Perhaps he's consumed so much wine he's now a de facto wine dispenser, and she was just checking the, er, tap?
