BJ's ethics advisor resigning doesn't astonish me. What does astonish me is, contrary to all evidence, he ever had one.

Ah. Interesting. I know Mittal used to donate to Labour but he changed horses a long time ago.

I don't really know what to say any more. Labour has haemorraged many of the very people who should be leading and uniting a credible opposition to this appalling shitshow - but not all.

Or am I naive? It's just so hard and bewildering to see this happening in plain sight.

I don't think anyone can explain it at the moment. My guess is it will be a case of "follow the money"

I am surprised any ethics advisor lasted as long as he did. Boris Johnson's only connection with ethics and morals is that he knows the words in more than one language.

In one respect I agree with BJ reviewing the need for an "independent" ethics advisor.
