It’s worth a listen back to the last 20 odd minutes of the James O Brian show today. Theo Usherwood was at a press conference regarding Chris Pinchers resignation and the Tory press officer tied himself in knots over whether or not Boris was aware of CP’s previous resignation and accusations before appointing him as chief whip.

How I could be aware of that but not Boris is utterly unbelievable and it showed.

It's amazing how much crap you can forget over the course of a week.

No wonder drugs are such an issue for certain MPs - how else would they find the energy to cock things up week after week.

I'm a bit worried. I can't stop laughing, I know it is all terrible, horrific behaviour in fact but it has got so ridiculous I can't stop myself. I think I need to go and lie down.
