Surely they don't need to wait for reports? Particularly given the allegations earlier this year of bullying by Whips? Allegations which have been repeated this week after the vote.

Hoyle is a weak waste of space.

Agree.

Unelected Frost blames everyone expect the ones who agreed and signed the deal.

He's thinking of standing as an MP. The mindless ego leading the blind springs to mind. Johnson better watch out.

Lindsay Hoyle promised a 'crackdown' on parliamentary drugs use in December, but now says he won't be taking action as "no incidents of drug usage have been reported"

sorry, is this the same investigation that was triggered because significant traces of cocaine throughout the Houses of Parliament were found?

Nothing to see here folks… just ‘cos 🤷‍♀️

WaitroseWoman · 09/06/2022 21:54

BJ stressed it was only for working people on UC, @itsgettingweird

It's OK, they were only seen there for around 10 minutes before the cleaners came round. As we have all learnt, if you spend less than 10 minutes committing a crime it's not really a crime.

Feeling very down today. Probably the realisation that we've still got the giant toddler narcissist pm in charge and his absolutely useless "new policies" and back in hi viz again for photo ops. I know you can't polish a turd but his new advisers are completely crap aren't they? That should be good news in many ways. But I want him gone. Vamos!

However, your comments on the wonderful music box gift have made me snort with laughter!

tobee · 09/06/2022 23:25

Just told Dh about the music box. He said that'll be on eBay by tomorrow Grin

Roussette · 10/06/2022 06:07

Imagine having a momento if PMs grinning out at you every time you looked at it. Still....I suppose it's a reminder for her if the ones she detested

I'm sick if seeing BJ in hard hat and hi Vis he seems to do it almost daily?

Roussette · 10/06/2022 06:08

Of. Not if
Can't type this morning!

BJ stressed it was only for working people on UC, @itsgettingweird

That goes back to the question then why they are appearing the cracks and not increasing wages enough for people to be able to afford houses without UC top ups.

itsgettingweird · 10/06/2022 08:23

My MP out a picture of the music box on FB because she's on it (Braverman)

The comments are hilarious!

AmaryIlis · 10/06/2022 08:26

So it's not just Prime Ministers then? Goodness, if it's got people like Braverman, Rees Mogg, Patel, Raab, Gove etc on it the entire RF are probably playing football with it.

It’s got the names of the current cabinet on it, the pictures are of the 14 PMs of her reign. Given that she detested more than one of them, it’s more of an insult than anything else.

DuncinToffee · 10/06/2022 08:32

Here is a picture too

At least they paid for it themselves.

No sorry. Her names on it. Not one of the pictures of the PMs past and present.

Although her posting of what Tory's are doing is increasing a lot recently.

Interestingly the comments in response are becoming more and more negative.

Roussette · 10/06/2022 08:44

Nah. They'll claim that back as 'office supplies' or similar.

What a monstrosity of a present.

Sunak losing £11bn of tax payer's money

www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-61754394
Rishi Sunak has been accused of failing to act soon enough to save £11bn of taxpayers' money that has been used to pay interest on government debt.

Jesus wept. You couldn’t make it up.

Problem nowadays is you even need to.

The cock ups don't even need a media spin or media bias.

They are in plain sight day in and day out.

Shock At that excerpt @DuncinToffee.

I don’t know why I’m shocked, this is meeting any and all expectations based on this cabinets past performance. I suppose I had higher expectations of Sunak given his lauded financial cv.

I hope the media runs with this one given the roasting Gordon Brown was given. Worse than Brown’s losses is a pretty powerful piece of information.

Of course that will upset Nadine Dorries-Un given her current hissy fit over Google results about BJ. Note to Nads - maybe he could try not being an appalling human and make some ethical choice's then the facts would be better when the algorithm has a look eh?

DuncinToffee · 10/06/2022 09:41

Saw this tweet summing it up

So, since yesterday...

We've learned that Brexit cost the UK economy £31 billion (measurement accounts for the pandemic).

We've learned that £4 billion of PPE will be burnt as it's unusable.

We've learned that Rishi Sunak overpaid £11 billion on UK debt.

A very expensive 24H!

And they reckon the Tories are the party of fiscal competence. 🙄
