Oh do go away. Or back up what you are saying. Hint. You can't.

I am laughing that BJ is sorting out the world's problems lol
He can't sort out his own party! (7 out of 10 backbenchers have no confidence in him!)

Yes I can imagine but that’s irrelevant really isn’t it? There’s no need to get wound up over imaginary scenarios that have never existed when we have an actual worst case scenario bouncing round no.10 like a bull in a China shop.

I’ve reported it. It’s disgusting and libellous.

You have been completely taken for a fool with the Starmer bollocks. I can't believe how easy some people are to dupe.

ilovesooty · 07/06/2022 21:42

Well at least MNHQ reacted quickly to the reports.

itsgettingweird · 07/06/2022 21:59

And my post makes no sense now because I didn't quote the crap!!!!

Sorry. I just couldn’t let that remain.

itsgettingweird · 07/06/2022 22:01

Absolutely. I agree. That's why I couldn't bring myself to quote.

DuncinToffee · 07/06/2022 22:02

I don't think you were the only one who reported it Blossom

Conservative MPs say they felt bullied and pressured into voting for Boris Johnson on Monday evening, following a confidence vote on the prime minister's leadership.

I read & reported it. I couldn't be bothered to reply. Drivel and libellous.

Notonthestairs · 07/06/2022 22:07

I'm not suggesting I reported it for drivel. Half of MN would vanish. I don't mind a bit of drivel.

I wanted her to see just how unacceptable it was. Now, on with the drivel!

Notonthestairs · 07/06/2022 22:12

Asked to photo their voting slip? No wonder phones were banned.

I'm sure we will be told that it's all usual standard Whips practices.

"Others predict the PM will be the master of his own demise. One tells me: “The one person who brings down Boris is in fact Boris. We stumble on from this f*-up to the next.”

This is it in a nutshell. Not the media, or rebels MPs or Remainer plots (involving Steve Baker, Andrea Leadsom or David Davis). Boris is the agent of his own "misfortune".

Just seen this on Twitter, it really made me laugh.

How prophetic of Johnson @Blossomtoes

newnamethanks · 08/06/2022 07:22

It's true of Johnson. He has been protected throughout by those who have something to gain from his being there. He can't help himself, he either can't or won't look himself in the face to acknowledge his inadequacies and culpability. Currently, I expect him and Mrs J are scouring Country Life for an appropriate residence, paid for by a grateful, yet to be announced, new peer. He will screw it up all on his own if Tiverton and Wakefield dont do it for him. Wave goodbye 👋 he's leaving.

Interesting interview from Petrionella Wyatt happening now on GMB.

She's basically said his whole personality always made PM the wrong job for him!

Surely those are not Boris' words because they are true?

Notonthestairs · 08/06/2022 07:39

PW has been pretty withering about Johnson and his lack of scruples.

The fact he wanted to be 'world king' as a child was a pretty big red flag!
