How many times a day do you change your clothes?

Not counting getting out of your PJs in the morning and back into them at night .....

Yesterday was pretty typical for me - a very active retired woman in late 60's with dog and horse to care for. Dressed in scruffy jeans/top/boots for dog walking (we live in a rural location), then (change 1) changed into clean jeans/top/nicer boots for trip to Sainos and meet friend for a quick coffee, (change 2) early pm back into scruffy stuff for dog walk 2, (change 3) changed into riding breeches and fleece for looking after/riding horse, (change 4) out of horse stuff, shower and into leggings and baggy top for evening meal/slop about watching a movie with DH, then back into PJs for bed.

It seems I'm a serial clothes changer. Can anyone relate?

Yes, yesterday 5 times. They don't get washed everytime but I know where they are for a quick swap
I have to shower at least twice a day though
I really couldn't care less what anyone thinks

It all sounds very intense.

I might wear different shoes to the ones I walk the dog in, but that’s it. No horse to deal with though.

Pjs, if i shower before breakfast then I stick trackies & a scruffy t-shirt on while i eat breakfast and clean teeth (to avoid going to work with toothpaste down my top again) then work clothes, then gym or running kit most evenings, and often trackies again after a shower before PJs back on for bed. sometimes my PJs go straight on when I get home though!

I change my clothes about 5 times a day depending on what activity i'm doing. I also shower 3 times a day. I thought everyone did this to be honest.

Some days I don't even change out of pjs.

Unless I am doing the gym or something very messy I don’t get changed at all most days.

I get dressed for the day then shower and put on loungewear/pyjamas once I’m home.

Have a hard enough job keeping on top of the laundry without adding multiple outfit changes.

Dressed into jeans and a top most days for general mum of a toddler stuff, baby groups, shopping, etc. Change once in the evening into my work uniform and then into pj’s.

Er sounds a lot of changes to me but I guess that's the same for anyone with a horse or a manual or smelly job.

Me too 😂. When I do get dressed, that's it for the day until I put my head pjs on again. Have enough washing to do without changing outfits several times a day

Nope.

Work days: get dressed, go to work , come home shower and pjs ( 12/13 hour days)

Home days: get up maybe shower get dressed. Comfies if at home. Other clothes for going out and about. I will change if I do any workouts. I will shower/change if I go out for the eve but that’s maybe once every couple of weeks.

Only change my clothes if I know I’m going to either get sweaty or mucky. That does not happen every day, so mostly it’s out of bed clothes into day clothes and then that’s it til I go to bed. I couldn’t be doing with changing multiple times a day, every day.

It varies especially as I work from home most of the time. However, I do not sit around in night clothes, get showered and dressed when I get up.

Unless I am going somewhere smart I live in my horsey clothes all day unless its really hot and I need to wear something cooler. I do however shower and change into PJs fairly early evening once horses are done.

I do not change at all during the day - that sounds a bit ridiculous

Wake up and do the school run in gym clothes; straight to the gym from there. Home, shower & change. Once I’m back home from whatever I’ve done that afternoon / afternoon school run I’ll put loungewear on for the evening or maybe another change depending on what im doing in the evening.
if it’s a night of DCs clubs, I’ll keep the afternoon clothes on.

Get up and dressed into active wear, workout, do lunch boxes, get kids out the door. Walk dog.

Then one change depending on meetings (home worker) or stay in exercise kit all day, especially if I'm cleaning house later that day!

I'm begging you, please tell me that you aren't calling Sainsbury's 'Sainos'. If you are, you have to stop it. Immediately

Generally only wear pyjamas and what I plan to work in mid week. Weekends the same with the exception of maybe a swimming costume if I swim or gym clothes if I gym. I guess if I ever went somewhere nice in the evening I might change. Generally 1 outfit a day though.

Your changes do make sense though. I don't have dogs or horses and actually not that many friends I need to dress nice for 😅

I only change if I'm leaving the house (further than putting the bins out!) because I wear loungewear at home. I can't sit in the house in clothes I've worn outside, been like that since primary school.

I change once, some days. Pjs into leggings and hoody for school run and then if I’m going out anywhere in the afternoon I might throw jeans and a top on and then pjs for that night. 5 times a day, multiple showers? No wonder the environment is fecked

Slept nude, then dressed in posh mum
outfit so I don’t show up DD at posh school dropoff.

Came home and changed into slob clothes: yoga pants and fleecy top. Did gardening. Got hot. Swapped fleece for tshirt.

Decided to go to shop. Put bra on and changed top.

Came home and took bra off for comfort.

Will soon put on my posh mum outfit again. Then I’ll come home and put on slob clothes 🤷‍♀️

usually once or twice max. PJs into sportswear then after a shower I put on comfortable WFH clothes. If going out in the evening I'll change again.

Normally 3 times, workout gear in morning then into work gear which gets filthy and once into trackies/jeans and a hoodie or something else comfortable so I'm not trekking dirt and shit around the house and if I need to go out I will wear that.
