How many times a day do you change your clothes?

Not counting getting out of your PJs in the morning and back into them at night .....

Yesterday was pretty typical for me - a very active retired woman in late 60's with dog and horse to care for. Dressed in scruffy jeans/top/boots for dog walking (we live in a rural location), then (change 1) changed into clean jeans/top/nicer boots for trip to Sainos and meet friend for a quick coffee, (change 2) early pm back into scruffy stuff for dog walk 2, (change 3) changed into riding breeches and fleece for looking after/riding horse, (change 4) out of horse stuff, shower and into leggings and baggy top for evening meal/slop about watching a movie with DH, then back into PJs for bed.

It seems I'm a serial clothes changer. Can anyone relate?

Really? Do you ever think of the impact all your showers are having on the planet? No one I know does this.

I get dressed into my dog walking clothes at 6.15am. Then i have a shower and get into my work clothes (messy job with kids). Get home at 2pm and change into nicer clothes even if it's just jeans and sandals etc. Another change then to walk my dog again later on. A couple of evenings a week I'll go out and meet friends so that's another change.

All the changing doesn't bother me. I have a system. My morning dog walking clothes get worn about 5 days in a row (so for 5 hours total) unless really really muddy. So I'm not creating tons of washing.

I tend to wear workout stuff in the morning then change into jeans or whatever for the rest of the day until evening if I’m going running when I’ll put the workout stuff back on. I don’t wear pyjamas. I’ll change my outfit if one of my toddler’s spills something all over me as well obviously.

Shower 3 times a day if you want, but did you actually think that everyone showers when they get up, when they get back from work and again before bed? Mental 😂😂😂😂

or did you think people showered before work, after dinner and then got up in the middle of the night to freshen up??

Depends on the day. For example yesterday changed from pjs to leggings and hoodie for cleaning the house. Then into jeans and a top for going to the shop. Back into leggings when i came home to mow the lawn and then pjs after a shower a couple of hours later. If i hadn't been going to the shop i wouldn't have changed at all.

Zero clothes changes on a normal day. One if we're going out in the evening, but not always then either.
If I'm gardening, decorating etc, then also one.

I during the week I usually work (but very informal dress or WFH) so I don't change unless I'm going to the gym or if I'm going out somewhere nice (not just the pub).

If I'm not working I usually wear exactly the same thing as I usually end up working at some point!

Depends on what I'm doing. If I'm gardening, I change my trousers in the utility room pretty much each time I go out of and into the house.

I don't, I come home with work clothes on, get into my dressing gown.

Work clothes then gym clothes (i go straight from work). Then if im home before DH i put my wellies on and manky coat and feed the sheep, lock up the chickens.

Once if I'm looking after the horses. They have an uncanny ability to make my clothes smell even if they aren't dirty. They rub their heads on me and make me smell of horse. So I shower and change on those days. Otherwise I don't.
