And so the madness continues! Here's our 9th thread to discuss, boast and rant about the game that is more pointless than Pointless, needs Masterminds to solve and will make Eggheads of us all, what with the amount of hair-pulling it induces!

Needed the thesaurus today .

I solved Semantle #72 in 142 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 13.10. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #31. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 19.58. semantle.novalis.org/

I solved Semantle #72 in 72 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 2.16. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #31. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 29.85 (624/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

Got stuck on trying variations of 972 so had to google to nudge me along.

I think this is the first time I've not seen you get it 😂 I normally scroll through your comments for hints lol

The issue for 991/994 is you use it to mean the same thing, but its not a direct synomym...

@BowerOfBramble I gave up on Button day because I got to 100 without a single green.

I've only got 602 and 141. Are they going to help me in any way please?

On the thesaurus page I use the target word is listed as a synonym of both 991 and 994. You really are so close...

Only 3 seemingly useless greens here after almost 150 guesses - 771, 290 and 277. Are they any use? Today seems a struggle for lots of us.

The words aren't even similar to each other 😩

@Wallawallakoala I'm 450 guesses into a swamp of greenery. I've tried comparing synonyms of 994 and 991 on thesaurus.com and oxford languages to no avail.
I'm going to kick myself when I do get it.
