And so the madness continues! Here's our 9th thread to discuss, boast and rant about the game that is more pointless than Pointless, needs Masterminds to solve and will make Eggheads of us all, what with the amount of hair-pulling it induces!

I solved Semantle #77 in 132 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 6.09. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #41. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 33.59 (768/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

Well that was a bit quick! I was hoping to use it to kill a bit of time at work but apparently not 😂. I only had two green words - 471 then 987 a few guesses later.

Went off on the wrong tangent, but a big clue on here for me back on track.

Quite quick for me too. Green on first guess though it didn't help!

I think the last few have made more sense so it's been easier to get the word. When I first started this game they seemed to be all over the place.

I solved Semantle #77 in 70 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 7.38. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #18. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 78.32 (998/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

Got loads of greens but none above 900 for ages. Once I got the higher ones then got it fairly quickly.
Now I'm going to see what 984 was that so many people start with it!

Woo!!! I got onto 984 at guess 4. And guess 11 was a misspelled word 🤦‍♀️ dreaded ????.
