WTF just came out of my arse??!!

NOT A POO TROLL!!

Been for a poo, and basically a bit of poo was hanging on something that looked like dental floss. I pulled the rest out EnvyConfused and it was about 25-30cm in length! The consistency of stretchy, stringy dental floss.

Any suggestions? It didn't look segmented so I'm hoping it's not a tapeworm!

That doesn’t look like a worm - it looks like stringy long grass Grin. Not a clue to be honest, but placemarking!!

LizBennet · 25/02/2022 13:58

Eye bleach!!

mumofEandE · 25/02/2022 13:58

@EBearhug

^I once accidentally swallowed some chewing gum and it came out like that.i

I don't believe you, @HalfwomanHalfcookie. Everyone knows that if you swallow chewing gum, it will strangle you from inside, and yet, here you are, alive and posting!

No - I was told (70s child) that I would get a chewing gum tree growing in my tummy I believed this for far longer than I should have!
RestingMurderousFace · 25/02/2022 13:58

I'm skipping lunch today Shock

And it stays in your stomach for 7 years (my mother used to tell me this every time I had chewing gum Hmm)

Phatsia · 25/02/2022 14:00

Did you eat leeks or celery OP?

LemonJuiceFromConcentrate · 25/02/2022 14:02

That looks like something vegetable-related, in my totally not expert opinion.

SerenTarot · 25/02/2022 14:03

DomesticatedZombie · 25/02/2022 14:03

I kinda agree, but surely I would have needed to have eaten something 12" long to have that in my gut??

Celery string? Or stringy bits off green beans?

Gonnagetgoing · 25/02/2022 14:11

It depends as it could be tapeworms (from meat or if you’ve travelled anywhere with them) or threadworms.

a friend had both i think after coming back from travelling in Far East. Made her quite sick.

See doctor.

theemmadilemma · 25/02/2022 14:12

Friday night TV's a bit shit a the moment, so 'What came out of my arse?' is shaping up to be a good show.

I'm sorry for your loss. Sad
Classica · 25/02/2022 14:16

Look around and see if you can find a teeny weeny hat that may also have been ejected at the same time.

I used to love Richard Scarry books! Tye pictures are great to look at, so many tiny details.

But back to the worm thing ...

londonmummy1966 · 25/02/2022 14:18

Have you had cod or monkfish recently - they sometimes have worms in them which are harmless

Warning this link is not for the faint hearted

dentydown · 25/02/2022 14:25

Thread worm? I had that when I was little.
