Apologies, couldn’t see a thread about this.

Just seen the most horrendous video of a West Ham footballer drop kicking his cat Shock across the room, then throwing things at it, then slapping it out of someone’s arms.

(Link to video mobile.twitter.com/emilyhewertson/status/1490811894197886981?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet)

It’s being published by the sun, but what I don’t understand is, why when (quite rightly) the lady who slapped the horse was sacked, all West Ham have said was that they “have spoken to him and will deal with internally”.

This is horrendous! The poor cat

The RSPCA have been alerted so I hope he will be held accountable for his actions. It is really shocking to watch the video footage and I hope he is prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

HotToddyColdSauvignon · 08/02/2022 02:47

He won’t be though will he Sad the premier league will just cover for him and shuffle it away as old news

As it is on video then I would hope that it would be taken out of the clubs hands and treated as a criminal matter, which it is. He would probably only end up with a fine though.

FrenchFancie · 08/02/2022 07:42

Not watching those videos, I’ll take your word for it…

Permiershit footballers get away with so much, it will all get swept under the carpet.

LaurieFairyCake · 08/02/2022 07:45

I want the cats rehomed

I want him fired

I want the fans to turn their backs on him and boo him

SunshineOnKeith · 08/02/2022 07:54

The articles say the net have declined to investigate and the RSPCA aren't doing anything? Wtf?

So yes - just ordinary folk who get prosecuted

HotToddyColdSauvignon · 08/02/2022 08:28

It’ll get swept under the carpet. No way a premiership club will let go of an expensive footballer “just” for kicking a cat Angry

And there’s no way it was a one off incident either, the video is made of 2 clips spliced together - it’s clearly on different days. He’s an absolute turd of a human

Can't watch the videos, they upset me too much.
What a wanker 😤

FlapsInTheWind · 08/02/2022 09:11

I knew when I saw that video that he will never be even questioned over this let alone prosecuted and do jail time.

It's the fact that people like Kurt Zouma get away with stuff like this that makes this country the total armpit it has become.

I hate this country now.

mowglika · 08/02/2022 10:01

I saw the video it was much worse than I thought.. he could have seriously injured the animal booting it in the stomach like this. Sickening. And what world is he living in that he thought people would enjoy seeing this.

He should be fired, but he won’t be as he’s worth too much to his team who only care about stats and profits.

Schmoozer · 08/02/2022 10:23

This is SO upsetting
I am so upset for the cat and other animals that suffer arseholes like this 🥲🥲🥲🥲
Why is the RSPCA not all over this ????

EcoCustard · 08/02/2022 10:24

Haven’t watched the clips or plan to. However premiership footballers are like Boris they get away with reprehensible behaviour and all will be forgotten.

poorbuthappy · 08/02/2022 10:25

What is the difference between this and the school teacher who slapped (is that the right word?) her horse?

HotToddyColdSauvignon · 08/02/2022 10:29

@poorbuthappy

What is the difference between this and the school teacher who slapped (is that the right word?) her horse?
From what I can see, she wasn’t bringing in her school millions of ££££ in sponsorship deals

@HotToddyColdSauvignon
And there we are.

What a crock of fucking shit.

Franklin12 · 08/02/2022 10:32

These footballers are just young men with too much too soon. Who have 10000's in the bank and dont know how to behave.

They are treated like gods in this country and some are early 20's. They often then believe they can do and say what ever they like and it will be forgiven.

Schmoozer · 08/02/2022 10:33

The horse slapping kicking teacher is an arsehole just like this cat abusing arsehole
I guess only difference is horse arsehole woman was filmed surreptitiously
The football arsehole wanted his abuse filmed and happily shared it to the world -
Both deserve prosecution for animal abuse

TooMuchPaper · 08/02/2022 10:33

Just looking at all the sponsors have. Wonder if any of those will make a statement.

Franklin12 · 08/02/2022 10:37

Shame on this twat. Bet he thought it was funny and people would howl with laughter.

He is clearly as thick as mince but has a talent that some revere so presumably a statement will come out saying 'error of judgement' etc etc.

BattleMyDemons · 08/02/2022 10:37

Cunt. He deserves to lose everything.

CagneyNYPD1 · 08/02/2022 10:41

I have seen the video and it is sickening. It is also very clear that this is not a one off. A one off incident wouldn't have been filmed. This was deliberately filmed and shared for laughs. A child is also in the video. Vile and absolutely sickening.

Jessica60 · 08/02/2022 10:49

He needs to be prosecuted.

spiderlight · 08/02/2022 10:49

God, this is awful. Why the hell are the RSPCA not doing anything??

Whitney168 · 08/02/2022 10:53

@poorbuthappy

What is the difference between this and the school teacher who slapped (is that the right word?) her horse?
Well on the face of it, the main difference is that while the teacher 'just' traumatised the horse - and I agree that her school were probably left with no choice but to sack her, through her own actions - this bloke could easily have caused internal injuries that killed this cat.

Absolutely disgusting if he continues to be able to have a football career. Hopefully public opinion will make it untenable for his club and sponsors to stand by him.

poorbuthappy · 08/02/2022 10:56

@Whitney168 - sorry I meant in terms of outcome.

I expect him to lose his job shortly or at least be suspended pending investigation.
