Apologies, couldn’t see a thread about this.

Just seen the most horrendous video of a West Ham footballer drop kicking his cat Shock across the room, then throwing things at it, then slapping it out of someone’s arms.

(Link to video mobile.twitter.com/emilyhewertson/status/1490811894197886981?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet)

It’s being published by the sun, but what I don’t understand is, why when (quite rightly) the lady who slapped the horse was sacked, all West Ham have said was that they “have spoken to him and will deal with internally”.

This is horrendous! The poor cat

It's vile what he has done and no way is it isolated.

Ironically he is an ambassador for a charity that helps house big cats like lions and tigers from abusive owners. He reckons he is keeping his two cats though as they are cherished members of the family. Those poor animals!

BronwenFrideswide · 08/02/2022 20:02

Will be interesting to see how this case pans out legally given what he has done appears to be much worse (not seen the videos as can't watch it,) Can't see him resigning somehow. .... shame or not.

What he has done is much worse, he was positively enjoying it and it was not a spur of the moment situation, it was obviously planned, set up and filmed.

What kind of person finds being cruel to and terrifying a defenceless animal funny and something to enjoy? The worst kind.

suckingonchillidogs · 08/02/2022 20:03

He's getting booed every time he touches the ball

Good.

That’s the least he deserves. Cunt.

Not liking racist comments isn't the same as condoning animal abuse.

What are you talking about?? My post was not racist!!!!!!
I said how unfortunate it would be if someone tackled him and you can guess the rest...

SlipperyDippery · 08/02/2022 20:08

Absolutely blows my mind he’s been picked tonight, not even 24 hours after the video broke.

Shame on West Ham.

Undecicive · 08/02/2022 20:09

@poorbuthappy

What is the difference between this and the school teacher who slapped (is that the right word?) her horse?
In all honesty: she slapped a 500 kg animal on a bony part. The footballer kicked a small cat across the room, kicking it in a sensitive area, I can imagine the force seeing he's used to doing a lot of kicking. Met Police not investigating, absolutely outrageous, this country is turning into the country I left...
TheOnlyMrsMac · 08/02/2022 20:10

David Moyes has defended his decision to play Zouma tonight. When asked if the video had played a part in his decision, he said: ' No, because he is one of our better players'.

It beggars belief.

Exactly. Couldn’t give a fuck what colour his legs are that get tackled. Cats protection have issued a statement saying he may have broken some of the cats bones and I’m a firm believer that you should get treated how you treat others. It’s only fair.

They are both animal abusers. And both cunts. No difference.

Both abusers and scumbags but the difference is the size of the animal. Injuries would be more severe on a cat vs horse. Both deserve harshest punishments possible.

Well pretty obvious I wasn't talking about them! I asked who had reported my post

chaosrabbitland · 08/02/2022 20:17

iv just read the article on the daily mail online and at the bottom there is a link to the petition urging the rspca to investigate him and prosecute it , iv signed , those cats need to be removed from him and he needs taking to court for animal cruelty

I’m a huge football fan and normally try to stick up for the sport but here, I got nothing. Shameful.

I’m not watching that game tonight because I just can’t bear to look at him yet.

I see on Twitter that the animal abuser is down injured and the Watford fans are chanting that's how your cat feels ...
