My absolute favourite 80s children's drama was Break in the Sun. Based on the book by Bernard Ashley, absolutely heartbreaking but beautifully written.

I've been re-watching Grange Hill on Britbox!

It began shortly after we'd moved from Wales to England and I was very unsettled - I just loved hearing the Welsh accent. I bought the DVD when DC were small and a few times I'd tear up remembering how it made me feel.
