Oh I know, I was glutton for punishment as I was already devastated from watching Watership Down around the same time!
Me and my brother collected the Farthing Wood magazines too, we were obsessed.

I remember Break in the Sun too, v sad as I remember it.
Also (I think this was from the 70s) Kizzy possibly adapted from The Didakoi ??
Loved the 70s adaptations of Carrie's War and The Secret Garden.
Also A Traveller in Time by Alison Uttley
