Is there a thread anywhere regarding the ghislaine maxwell trial? I've searched and can't find one anywhere

I was a juror in this country. Hand on heart, I've never sat with anyone that stupid and there were many, many different people there - as you say, very much a true reflection of our society. Maybe I was lucky, but I really wouldn't dismiss the bribe theory just yet.

Do potential jury members know in advance which trial they are being selected for?

Not in this country, no. You find out on the day you're selected from a pool of jurors. I am not sure what system there is in the US though.

Reports today saying she's about to ask for a retrial:

Great news, retrial has been denied. The judge believed the juror did not omit the question on purpose and it didn't affect his ability to be impartial.

There is a thread on it

I have linked this thread on there after finding it again Smile
