I'm so shocked as I thought she'd get off, but I'm so relieved the victims have some justice now.

Was just going to post this. I am so happy to hear this result, I honestly thought the verdict would be bought and she'd get off. I wonder if she is surprised, her defence seemed very arrogant.

I hope she sings like a canary.

Not sure what this means for PA but he must be desperate if his lawyers are arguing that VG is not a US citizen as she lives in Australia and so the NY court has no jurisdiction.

Well, ther's being wrong and then there's being WRONG ... anyone got a spare hat I can eat??

Of course she's not been sentenced yet, so lets not get too excited about "justice being done" too soon, but it hardly seems good news for Andrew and others if she sings in order to reduce any jail time

Definitely the right verdict, even if I am a little surprised by it (but very happy by it) - lots of things about this trial just seemed very 'off'.
I can't help but wonder if her team knew she would always be found guilty, and so deliberately kept up with a somewhat charade in order for the appeals.

I'm no lawyer, but surely an appeal against the actual conviction would come before a deal?

Great news. I do feel that she will end up freed on some technicality after a not very long period served. Can one start trying to make deals at this point?

I hope that today is not the end but rather another step in justice being served. Maxwell did not act alone. Others must be held accountable. I have faith that they will be.
