6 weeks to xmas and then you get that? along with everyone else and oh yeah the paying of your normal bills too, i would be handing it back and saying you can have one thing only, BE READY FOR THE FALL OUT THO as you will be the most awful parents anyone could ever have and that all their mates are getting these things blah blah blah, im going to guess the age is about 14-15 yrs old? tell them they can have one thing upto the value of........................ and anything else they get is upto you, if they kick off then the list gets shorter of any potential additions
mumoftinyterrors · 12/11/2021 17:44

Love it OP!
😁

My 7 year old asked for a PS5, an iPhone 13 mini, AirPods and a solid gold chain 🤣 The kid is delusional

Meljel · 12/11/2021 17:47

Loll thats so funny....I don't know why I'm laughing for my son asked me for nearly about the same! Lmao grin]

maybloss2 · 12/11/2021 17:47

Ah Christmas! One year (I was 13) I asked for a make up case, merely specifying one of those round ones.Thinking of those round leather travel cases that look so chic when some actress sashays through to the plane(think 60’s glamour here). What I actually got was a trashy pink n white plastic box , it was round though. I have never been so disappointed with a Christmas pressie. Particularly as it became apparent this was the main pressie. My parents were quite hard up, but usually managed something we’d actually like or use. Maybe it was the first time I really paid attention to wanting something 🤷‍♂️

amispeakingenglish · 12/11/2021 17:48

Thanks for the laugh, so cute too. Now my 23 yr old is giving me hers!

Oscarsdaddy · 12/11/2021 17:48

How sweet, hope you and your family have a lovely Christmas

Meljel · 12/11/2021 17:48

And my son is 11 Yr old too

Meljel · 12/11/2021 17:49

Merry Christmas all

stoppedlurking · 12/11/2021 17:54

I enjoyed reading that, honest in an innocent way but aware of cost. I mean we do ask them what they want so you have to expect a reply.

AnneElliott · 12/11/2021 17:57

Love it. My brother used to get the Argos book and circle the stuff he wanted. There were pages of it!!

Mummyto2rugrats · 12/11/2021 17:58

I absolutely love the optimisim and how it's split to 3 levels really want would like like but don't have to get love it

DGFB · 12/11/2021 17:58

You have to frame it. It’s magic

WeeM · 12/11/2021 18:06

Aw love it!

BeaLola · 12/11/2021 18:07

Love it .... reminds me when DS was younger & in his list to FC he asked for " a wallet like Daddy's BUT with money in it "

now as a teen its all branded expensive stuff .................

EchosMum2007 · 12/11/2021 18:11

I think your child has a charming wonderful sense of humour!

hotmeatymilk · 12/11/2021 18:25

My 2 year old has asked for a toy crane that costs £10 from the entertainer. I'm going to savour these days whilst they last
My 2 year old has asked for fire Grin Budget aside I think the brands and tech era might be easier…

RockyReef · 12/11/2021 18:32

I love that he/she has specified that the Nike Airs are (shoes) (from Nike) 🤣🤣

I think my boys live in a little rural bubble as they wouldn't have a clue what most of these things were (I don't either) or maybe they are just younger. My 10 year old's list so far has 2 Lego sets, surf wax, some books, a Playmobil dragon, a bootbuddy and a wooden sword on it. My 7 year olds list is even shorter with just 1 book, some Lego (unspecified), a real rhino, a toy rhino and a new pair of football boots on. There's time yet for them to add more unreasonable items (well obviously the rhino isn't realistic!).

I dread the teenage years when I presume they will just want designer clothing and phones / gaming consoles etc.

I might start making my list soon....

cannockcandy · 12/11/2021 18:32

Awww that's both cute and hilarious!
My son wants a laser quest kit for home off Santa, when asked what he wants from us it's always erm I don't know, or, whatever lol. So I note down through the year anything he comments on and get them for him when I can.

Blue4YOU · 12/11/2021 18:33

Utterly
Brilliant

JesusIsAnyNameFree · 12/11/2021 18:39

That's so adorable. The specificness of the keyboard made me imagine my DH as a kid Grin He's all about the switches!

tiggerwhocamefortea · 12/11/2021 18:40

I'd rather have your list OP - my 5 year old has requested

For me to have another set of twins - this time they have to be girls and also identical 🙈

(Im infertile so more chance of getting the hippo for Xmas to be honest 😂)

Harls1969 · 12/11/2021 18:42
