Greek man confesses to killing his wife

Right from the very start I knew it was him! That poor woman, having the life choked out of her for daring to leave her husband. A baby who will never know her mummy

Just heartbreaking

@didihearthatright123456 don't watch it, I truly wish I hadn't so, so harrowing. The only interesting thing was how the police handled him. I think I read somewhere there was a podcast or something about the techniques they used to get him to confess.

That poor, poor woman and her baby. Jesus wept.

And men wonder why we are terrified of them?

I hope he rots.

@Prokupatuscrakedatus

And it is important that he is Greek?
And British wife? Greek wife would not have been that bad then?

Their nationality makes no difference. Everyone would feel the same if it had been a British man and a Greek woman. Or any other combination of nationalities.

Poor woman. And poor baby. Sad

Awful. Her age is relevant as many men who are abusive seek out much younger girls/women who are easier to control. All about wielding power over females.

What an absolute bastard. We thought it was him when we spoke about this at work.

I listened to a podcast that talked about this case just the other day (I can’t remember which one now, I think it was redhanded?). Sounded like a horrible case but the truth is so awful.

Just awful and I know this will sound odd, but he killed their dog too. I just can’t even begin to understand what he did, he murdered his wife rhen he murdered the dog too. It’s beyond horrific.

It’s just a blessing he didn’t murder the baby too

How terrible. I thought the robbery story seemed a bit far fetched. And, it’s usually the boyfriend/husband when a woman is killed at home isn’t it? What a tragedy for that little baby.

i must admit i was so surprised earlier when i saw the headline , last i knew they had arrested that bloke , so i assumed they were easily close to solving it . so evil to kill her ,now her little girl wont ever know her mum , its terrible it really is

I commented on the thread at the time the press reported the murder, and said that I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be him. I am indeed not surprised.

Poor Caroline, her little baby now has a horrific background to overcome as well. Caroline's parents will have to deal with the whole situation - the loss of their daughter, the betrayal and lying from this vile man, the impact on their grand daughter. That one selfish violent man can cause so much damage is horrific.

Knew straight away.
Anyone else remember Gordon Wardell?

His wife was a building society manageress and he claimed they'd been attacked in their home by masked men and she was murdered for the door code. He even tied himself up and waited to be found by the police.

Early 90s probably. Knew it was him then too!

The worst thing about all of this is that he will not be in prison for the rest of his life.

I think the same bluntness

And i know he killed a vibrant young woman with her whole life ahead of her but with the dog, that took ‘thinking’ about. He did that to cover his arse after he allegedly ‘snapped^. It just accentuates how evil he actually was.

For what it is worth, I doubt he snapped. He just got his own way by using violence.

As toffee said also, it is a blessing that he didn’t kill the baby but what an awful weight he has given her to carry through her life. Sad

I remember the first thread too. It seemed so obvious it was him. Attacked by three masked men but not a single mark on his body? RIP Caroline and her dog. Her poor family and little girl Sad

Urgh. Red flags from the start. They killed her but he saw a face and they left him. They had a gun but they strangled her. His cool composition when being questioned by journalists. Poor baby.

Sad, sick, but not surprising in the least. Sadly any time I see a news report about a murdered woman, my first thought is the husband/father/ex did it. And most
Of the time I’m right.

Report
Aposterhasnoname · 17/06/2021 22:16

Said it was him from day one. That story didn’t add up at all.
