The latest royal family drama

It's like a TV show. How embarrassing!

www.thetimes.co.uk/article/royal-aides-reveal-meghan-bullying-claim-before-oprah-interview-7sxfvd2c3

The latest is that Meghan is accused of bullying staff. Harry and Meghan then responded that Buckingham Palace was using the Times to peddle false stories/a smear campaign. So presumably the "leak" comes from Buckingham Palace/the Queen.

It's all so childish. Why can't they all just be grateful for the extremely cushy life that they have!

I'll be watching the Oprah interview. I think the royals never come across well in these kind of things. Like Andrew's awful interview...he's just so out of touch with reality. And I think that's a characteristic that Harry unfortunately shares with him.

So when are the dozens of bullying allegations against Andrew and Kate going to be investigated then?

VinylDetective · 04/03/2021 14:33

So when are the dozens of bullying allegations against Andrew and Kate going to be investigated then?
When their victims request it probably.
PurpleCrocuses · 04/03/2021 14:33

How exactly do you define "hissing" and "whispering"?

How can someone tell the difference at a distance?

Really fascinated by this newfound theory that whispering at someone makes you worse than a rapist!

Why don’t you list all of your dozens of examples and send the to the palace as a grievance? Then you can get the right answer, can’t you? No point asking here.
ChardonnaysPetDragon · 04/03/2021 14:34

A cyclist once hissed at me, totally unprovoked, it was very unpleasant and rather creepy. Was I bullied? No.

Did you work for him?

Nanalisa60 · 04/03/2021 14:34

SweatyPie

if one could only ignore them!! If only they had gone to live the quite life that they both wanted so much!!

We should all be so lucky, I think you will find the Duchess won’t be a happy woman until she is one of the most powerful and rich women in the world, living a quite life out of the eyes of press was not for her!! She just loves the limelight to much.

But as I said I for one won’t be watching the Interview on Monday night!!

Gosh, why don’t you look to the definitions and see if that helps you to understand them. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Now who’s twisting facts to suit their agenda?

PurpleCrocuses · 04/03/2021 14:35

When their victims request it probably.

So how come Meghan's alleged "victims" requested that Jason Knauf rescind the allegations he made on their behalf without their permission?

How come you're accusing Meghan of being an abuser because she once whispered to a staffer, based entirely on second hand information?

VinylDetective · 04/03/2021 14:36

That’s been denied repeatedly.

fairydust11 · 04/03/2021 14:37

@BillieSpain - You say you’re not racist, but that comment - “she does not look black” seriously, who even says things like that nowadays? (Apart from you of course)
Plus how has “she totally changed her appearance” ? - She looks the same as the teenage/childhood photos published of her...

PurpleCrocuses · 04/03/2021 14:39

For about the fifth time on this thread, please can you point to these allegations made against Kate, please?

Lots of allegations that Kate was a bully at school.

Kate allegedly bullied one of the York girls.

Loads of tabloid coverage in the early years of her marriage claiming the mass staff exodus from the Cambridge household was due to Kate being a nightmare to work for.

Kate trying to force Remi Litt to wear tights (when it was none of her business what a bridesmaid to someone else's wedding wears) and bursting into years ie using white woman tears as a tool of manipulation when she didn't get her own way.

Even things like Kate sabotaging the infamous fashion show outfit because she wanted to walk the catwalk in her underwear to catch William's eye could be considered bullying, since the fashion student worked hard on that outfit and changing a student's uni presentation to suit your own agenda is cruel.

PurpleCrocuses · 04/03/2021 14:39

By whom?

If its what I am thinking of. This is to do with the fish market incident while in figi. One: she was about around four months pregnant (in a not so forward way, the papers hinted at morning sickness). She was then taken away.
Two: I come across issues with security being mentioned. Saying that it was poorly planed, poor crowd management. This one, we all saw the video. It's there for all to see..

For the third time, as TheCatWithTheFluffyTail has posted, the journalist has denied that the allegations were withdrawn and it is irrelevant anyway, as Jason Knauf’s email stands as a complaint of bullying in its own right. He doesn’t need their permission to state that bullying has taken place, and he reports many incidents in his email.

Also, by now we are talking about one incident in a pattern of behaviour that is being discussed. The allegations that Meghan is an abuser are already out there, this in one incident that was witnessed by an outside observer that has been reported, and is being discussed. Self-evidently it is not the sole alleged incident.

Roussette · 04/03/2021 14:41

You see, the fact that they decided to pay it back after they had announced they were leaving, does not negate the fact that the cost was initially paid by the taxpayer.

They. Paid. It. Back.
No money to the taxpayer, it was paid back. How is that wrong, the money was paid back. Weird thing to say. It's like you are desperate to criticise.

VinylDetective · 04/03/2021 14:41

The alleged victims. They say they quite categorically did not ask for the complaint to be rescinded.
TheKeatingFive · 04/03/2021 14:42

Why was it printed?

It doesn’t matter whether it was with their permission or not. The Times say at least one did not want their claim withdrawn and we also don’t know if JK did have permission or not. He might well have done.

She is said to have hissed not whispered and the person who witnessed it, Rachel English, has written an article about it. It’s not second hand information.

Can you please try to remember this, as it’s getting a little tiresome to repeat.

Mummy195 · 04/03/2021 14:42

It literally does negate. It changes the accountancy books from negative red to positive black !

PurpleCrocuses · 04/03/2021 14:43

It's pretty clear William and Kate bullied Meghan.

Giving the person who leaked nasty shit about your DB and SIL to the press a top CEO job.

William and Kate staging that budget airline pap stunt to score points off Harry's bad PR rather than be supportive.

William and Kate not firing Christian Jones when it came out his partner had taken £4k in payments from the press.

But sure Meghan "hissed" once burn the witch.

BananasAboutBananas · 04/03/2021 14:44

I felt really sorry for Meghan to begin with - I thought her family were trashy and awful for insisting on detailing their personal issues with her and generally washing their dirty laundry in the press. Now she's doing exactly the same thing with the family she married into, so I have lost all sympathy.

TheCatWithTheFluffyTail · 04/03/2021 14:44

What do you mean? The complaint and the leaked email are totally different things.
