How long into your relationship did you get engaged?

Just that really! Interested to see when people decided to put a ring on it. I know no two relationships are the same but I am intrigued having a baby and coming up to our second year anniversary makes the question play in my mind more so as to when things like this follow?

10 years (my decision).

Been together 25 now.

Together 4 years when we got engaged (engaged at 22) and got married 5 years after that (aged 27). First baby born when we were 29. Been married 12 years this year and together for 21.

We didn't get engaged just decided to get married. Thirteen years together and the wedding was in October.

Engaged after 4 months, married 5 years later, had our first DS 6 years later.

We got engaged after less than a year but in lesbian years that's at least 3 years. We won't be getting married for a while yet.

Got together in September 07, Ebgaged Christmas 08 then took 9 years to arrange a wedding. We eloped in the end.

After 10 months, married a year later

2.5 years I was pregnant with our 2nd. Married a year after.

Together 19yrs here and not engaged.

Got together May 2015. Engaged Dec 2019. Had wedding penciled in for 2022 but think realistically that's going to be moved to 2023.

Both have children from prior relationships but no children together and no more planned. Due to move in together shortly (house sale due to complete imminently)

Engaged after 1 year and 7 months. Married 9 months after that. DS came along 2 years and 1.5 months after marriage. Have now been married for 7 years and 2.5 months.

Engaged after dating for 3 weeks.
Married at 10 months in.
Everyone thought we were nuts, but we knew.

We’ve been happily married 15 years so far.

9 months, married for nearly 33 years
