@KasparKat

Does 5HTP help with anxiety?

For people asking about magnesium, it's much better absorbed through a skin spray and no digestive side effects.

An epsom salt bath is a very effective way of getting magnesium.

I find sambucol excellent for warding off colds and other bugs.

Yes I love magnesium salts baths, sleep really well afterwards.

I use magnesium glycinate 500mg.
Improves my sleep quality and chest muscle cramps that I get if I’m low in mag. (Have needed a mag infusion in the past so am very careful with not letting it get too low. Got malabsorption due to Crohn’s though).

Also take D3/Calcium (prescribed) and Glucosamine.

@Lipz

How do you work out which vitamin you need? Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with so many vitamins available and can't decide which ones are for us.
You could try putting your daily food intake through Cronometer.com to see if you are deficient in anything. I was deficient in Vit D (most ppl are) and B12.
ASavageComplex · 03/09/2021 07:35

What do people take for vitamin absorption, is it vitamin D3 and K2, or Vitamin D and K3? I got confused upthread ⬆️😁

I’ve started taking marine collagen now on the strength of this thread, only been taking them for about a week, so not expecting results for a while yet.

I have been taking multivits for a while and omega 3 capsules, but I might try the vit B complex or magnesium for insomnia reasons.

Dh and I have ate rubbish over the summer with takeaways etc. Now autumn is approaching, I’ve started making more meals from scratch, good old cottage pie and casseroles packed with veg etc.

I’ve just ordered six months worth of the Alive ones from Weldricks pharmacy as the reviews are so good.
