Hello all.

I really enjoyed the last jigsaw thread which was going on during the summer and wondered if anyone fancied sharing any pictures of jigsaws that are currently being done?
I'm nearly finished with my Disney Christmas one. A nice easy one which has only taken me a couple of days.
The weather is grim today so I expect it will be finished very soon! I will post a full picture once it is complete.
Would love to see your jigsaws....

Thank you @toastofthetown you’re right I need to have a cull probably and keep my most favourite ones, but every time I look at them I can’t decide, a bit useless like that! I still can’t bring myself to cut the boxes either. Your second puzzle is gorgeous 🙂

Has anyone done the Artist's Cat jigsaw by Geoff Tristram? I've made the puzzle & found all the artists & the painting, but what's the name of the cat? I have an answer but it doesn't match his/her nametag letter & there's no way of checking or confirming it. (I have a back-up answer which matches the initial on the name tag, but there's no reason for it except it's who painted the hidden painting.) Lovely jigsaw.

Sorry can’t help but that puzzle looks great, I love a good riddle. So you have to find hidden paintings and rearrange the initials to get the name of the cat?
Jigsaw, cats and art - 3 of my favourite things, I might have to treat myself…

You have to identify the artists who painted the little 'extracts' around the border, then work out a message, then find the names of other artists from the main picture plus the name of another painting. Then you work out the cat's name. My first choice seems wrong, but I have another answer which fits most things - I'd just like confirmation but I can't find it online.

It's a beautiful image & great fun putting the mini-masterpieces together. I recognised all but three, & I did a reverse search on those - a couple surprised me.

I've done the ship's cat, Dick Whittington's cat, the Egyptian cat & this one & they're all interesting to do, lovely images & an absolute swine when it comes to putting the cat together! Some come in different piece numbers, even down to 300. This was a 1000. There are still two more 'Conundrum Cats' to do AFAIK.

This is my latest one, it’s a Foo Fighters album cover (Sonic Highways) that I got on eBay and it was absolute hell! Once the edges were done all I could really do was keep rummaging the box because nothing in it was big enough to separate out and work on individually. 3 pieces have gone wrong somewhere in the sky but I’ve checked it over and over and I can’t figure out where it went wrong. Never been so glad to ‘finish’ a puzzle.

That looks so difficult, it’s all the same shade/colour.
I’m doing a 2000 Disney one at the moment but it’s a pain because it’s just too big. I have it split in two, in my puzzle case at the moment but i obviously can’t shut the bloody thing as it’s on both sides.

Just finished this. Very enjoyable right up until the last 50 or so pieces. I got to the last 6 and was still struggling to see where they went 🤦🏼‍♀️

I have loved doing these, especially the Elena Essex one. They are a lovely thick quality jigsaw and the designs are excellent.

I did a Lowry jigsaw today, it was good with not too much sky.

The mixture of lighter nights and lots of rain has been great for puzzling! I got Radiant Jungle for Christmas and I loved it - as I love almost anything with a gradient! The middle one was a puzzle from the puzzle championships this year, and my friends and I put in a respectable time. Doubt we'll be in Spain next year though 😂 And the Slowpokes one was a Vinted find, a but shiny for what I usually enjoy, but it's adorable. I have two more puzzles ready to collect from Vinted today as well

Finally did my first true gradient puzzle (Cloudberries- Gradient). I loved it, so peaceful.

@toastofthetown I've done Gradient, was very glad of the poster that was actually the same size as the jigsaw (they aren't always).

I've just finished this one. It was a present, and was quite tricky!

Most difficult jigsaw ever.... took about 6 weeks! I knew when we picked it up it would be difficult!

Ooh no, that looks crazily difficult - all the same colours and no large areas to get stuck into.

I like the cats and jigsaw one.

I can’t bring myself to do jigsaws this time of year, my head just isn’t in it.

@PuzzleMania there was a hell of a lot of shades of brown, which made it hard!

Not as lovely as some puzzles here, but I've just done this one (yesterday for a few hours then finished this morning) for the second or third time. I'm putting it in my charity shop bag now 😁

Ooh what a lovely thread but dangerous for me as I love a puzzle and have now just bought my first Elena Essex round one after seeing these. We just finished this one on holiday last week.

I've done these in the last week. I like a cartoon jigsaw with lots of details

A couple of finished for us, I managed to finish my Christmas jigsaw at the end of May, I just couldn’t muster up any enthusiasm for it!

I found the enthusiasm after DC9 and I finished the Disney one in the Easter holidays.

I've just finished this one. The dark green parts did my head in after while so I had to have a break of a couple of weeks!
