Have just potted up a few houseplants that were delivered to my door by click it local. Amazing. They are pretty.

Had to take the tube today (which meant walking down to it - with loose knickers and trousers (ulp)- as there was a bad accident down my road. Whole road blocked off from where I live to the end of the road by the Broadway. Decided to get a bus that did not come from where I am but no buses going anywhere so had to take the tube. Not too painful but I prefer buses!

Must sort out my trousers with some material to pull them as they keep sagging down. I think thi sis years of putting my walkman in th epocket!!! (Shows how old the trousers are!

Ha! If it is not too exciting for you , (it might be for me!) I have just had a compliment, that I had a pretty face! Mind you I am sitting down in reception!

I've just had a giant scotch pancake with butter and DH has gone to fetch the breadmaker, flour and yeast I ordered from Lakeland.

I decided to let the DC off dishwasher clearing duties earlier as we had just got back from a run together.

I saw some nice slippers today in town but they were mens and too big. Really wanted them though. Still thinking about going back for them

I saw a completely gorgeous vet earlier. Made waiting around in a cold car park worth it.

When people (projcet managers) say 'It's all ready to be uploaded ' they only mean that they asume the contents of the documents will be vaguely done. They never think that it'll usually takes a day of me nagging the team and getting the stuff into a presentable form, which in turn leads me to work late.
Just came home - DD cooks for me because I am tired.

But I did not get wet, we kept the deadline and I do not have to go in tomorrow.

I made goulash in the slow cooker yesterday and my mum and dad had it today. It was nice.

I survived my Year 9. I've sent many enails today mostly calming down mummies ( mummy stress levels are much higher since lockdown - they've seen the reality of their children). The menfolk have just been out to buy ravioli and a bottle of chilled proseco has fallen in the shopping bag. Fish Town must be the most boring show on tv but nothing else on.

My kitten is still curled up next to me and purring happily.

When he purrs, I ask him why he's on vibrate mode. He doesn't answer.

It's chilly so I am watching Eastenders with my scarf on.

I will go to bed soon. I am really really tired.
No longer any cat here, but DD gave me a 'side sleeper cushion shaped like a seven' for my birthday and it's been so good for my back and neck.

I'd love a kitten, but Daisy and Mingus would be really, really angry about it, especially Daisy. She thinks Mingus should live on the deck, even in winter.

I might have to get one anyway when DD goes to uni, hopefully next fall.

Thank you! He's one of three. Currently he's sat on dining table and staring DH in the soul until he gets some chicken.

The middle one is curled up on the sofa and the oldest is snoring in an empty beer box on top of the fridge.

I am watching Emmerdale. I watch Emmerdale relatively often (maybe once a week), but I have absolutely no idea who anyone is or what any of the storylines are (because I'm usually titting about on the internet, not paying attention). I like having it on through, I find it very comforting.

I am currently in the bath , with a glass of sherry . Dog is laying on my bed doing her warming duties . She’ll grumble at me when I make her move but will forgive me for a cheese straw.

I found a box of tic tacs in my work bag today. I'd forgotten they were in there. It was Brilliant. They were the blue ones.

I've just had a cup of Pukka bedtime chai latte. It was very nice.
I am hoping to get up early to fit in a little run before work tomorrow - I failed today.

I’m waiting for a Tesco’s delivery and wishing I had picked an earlier slot on a different day (none available for today), needs must because Ocado delivery never arrived Tuesday (‘technical difficulties’ apparently 😡)
